I would rate kays with zero stars if it was optional. We have been with kays for 10 years and just substantially upgraded my wedding ring set and purchased an all diamond bracelet. The bracelet and rings were too big so we had them sent in for sizing. I got the band and bracelet back but not the main ring because I was told the jeweler "broke it to the extent he couldn't fix it and it had to be sent back out to a professional to be foxed" the bracelet was put back together wrong after taking out links and broke as I was showing the manager and the band had a raised loose diamond so it also had to be sent back in. It's been over 30 days now and I don't have even one of the 3 items because of constant issues on their end! The manager admitted to not checking the jewelry when it came back in but assured me they sent it out to a "more professional, experienced jeweler this time around" absolutely unacceptable and ridiculous!
My husband purchased an upgraded new wedding ring set for me on our 10 yr anniversary along with a diamond bracelet. All 3 had to be sent in for sizing. When notified they were in and ready for pick-up, we were told the jeweler "broke the ring" and it had to be sent back out for repair by a professional because the jeweler who did it initially couldn't fix his mistake. Then a week later I realize my bracelet that had been sized has a loose link that was about to break and a coupl3 days after that noticed a diamond in the wedding band I got was raised from the others. Took both back into the store where I was told management was supposed to inspect all items before they were given to me and that didn't happen. After she inspected these items I was told they would both need to be sent back in for repair. So now, I have purchased 3 very expensive pieces that I still am not able to have a month later due to numerous faulty repairs and lack of inspections being done. I'm absolutely done with this jeweler. We have spent so much money here over the years but this is just trash customer service and unacceptable! I am soo so upset about all of this!
