Ashley HomeStore - Bed

We purchased an ASHLEY bed under 90 day trial.
By 28 days we gave up trying to sleep on it and are sleeping on the couch or kid's beds. Ashley is refusing to abide by the 90 day trial policy The local Ashley store refuses to even respond. All we want is to return this bed and have the charges reversed. We saved years to spend $7873.04 for something to last all our golden years, and after 2 months it is an unusable lump taking up a whole room.

Sales order [protected] on 9/18/2021, Delivery about a month later, Requested return after trying for 3 weeks to get used to the mattress. Store refuses to talk to us. Sales rep, Dimitri, suddenly says all we can do is exchange it for another more expensive bed and pay the difference.
Corporate Ashley has said they will send out a technician, but they have delayed this and would only make an exchange. We don't want anything but a return and refund.

This was sent to the Credit card company, similar letters and copies of this were sent to Ashley Corporate and the local Ashley highland store (219).513.3040

The bed is unsleepable.
• My wife can spend no more than 45 minutes in the bed, and has slept on the couch or other bed in the house most of the time.
• She does occasionally use it for a nap as she can't stay more than ½ hour.
• I can only sleep on the bed for about an hour before I must get up and walk around.
• The left side (from the foot) is spongy while the right side is firm.
• There is a line that everything slopes from so that if you try to sleep on your back your body is at a lateral slope of about 5 degrees.
• You cannot sit on the side as there is not support and you slide off.
• My wife cannot get out of the bed without assistance due to the construction. She has had two foot surgeries and has limited mobility.
• We stopped using the "vibration" as it is abhorrently loud, and tends to grind rather than give a comforting vibration.
• There is a subterranean line that transverses diagonally head to foot where there is support of a type on one side and a sponge on the other This is the source of the fall off that slopes from center to left side.
• We can only side sleep for 15-20 minutes before painful pressure points form at the hips and shoulders.
• There has been a complete lack of consortium since the installation of the bed.
This bed is nothing like what we spent over an hour testing at the Ashely store. The height is different, the support is different, buildup of pressure points is different, and the vibration devices behave differently.

We have approached Ashley at the store multiple times and they will not take the bed back. Corporate Ashley has said they will send out a technician. They set the date for December 10, and then will not confirm the date. We do not want a trade, repair or replacement. We just want this evil monstrosity gone from the house.

Desired outcome: Return the mattress and accessories for a full refund of the charges and cancellation of the credit card debt

Ashley HomeStore - Low quality furniture and will not recognize warranty coverage!

We made a purchase at this location, 10135 Indianapolis Blvd, Highland, IN 46322, on 09/09/19 in the amount of $1, 572.52. We purchased a couch, love seat, and extended warranty. I was offered a warranty service for accidents that will protect my investments from all kinds of issues, including frame breakage. The frame broke. We paid for the warranty service GBS (now rebranded as ProtectALL), which DSG sold us at the time of purchase. We were insured that we would be covered for this problem of frame breakage and if they couldn't fix it…it would be replaced.
We filed a claim, with GBS. Instead of GBS sending someone out to examine the damage, my claim was fraudulently denied. The reasoning was, I didn't have coverage for frame damage. I was in shocked and upset, because I know what I was sold. I went to the store management and have had a number of conversations with them. After many conversations, I was told the warranty I was sold was not valid and could not be helped. I no longer want to do any sort of business with Ashley or DSG. I would like them to come pick up their crappy furniture and FULL REFUND of $1, 572.52. I have supporting documentation that we are in the right.

Desired outcome: I would like them to come pick up their crappy furniture and FULL REFUND of $1,572.52. I have supporting documentation that we are in the right.
