I arrived at the Indianapolis greyhound station at 3:00 am on March 26th and found my line to wait for boarding. I was standing in line for about 10-15 minutes when the driver came to check us in. She made her way to me down the line and watched another man cut in front of me and proceeded to process him first anyways. Wasn't a big deal as we are boarding the same bus. When she arrived to me she asked me to be still with my e-ticket(phone) which I was to the best of my abilities. I'm not sure if she scanned my ticket or not for when I looked up she was just staring at me. I then simply stated "did you get it?" Mentioned as "we're you able to scan my ticket?" She then just walked away from me and proceeded to check in another passenger. I obviously knew something wasn't well so I went to approach her for an explanation as to what was going on and she begins aggressively yelling at me not to "walk up on her" and began to become dramatic. I became frightened immediately as I had no idea what was happening I kept asking for a ticket. She then proceeds to tell me I was being rude and therefore not riding her bus. I was beginning to become nervous and frantic as I was to be at my job the following day at 5 pm. I was then aggressively approached by the terminals "security guard" and told that I needed to reschedule with the lady at the desk for another bus and then I was to leave the building. I was not happy about this as I was being degraded for no apparent reason other than her assumptions or insinuations. I was charged a fee of $20 to reschedule my bus and I have been reprimanded by my job for this aswell. I will be having money taken from me as a result.For half of the encounter I wasn't quite sure what was happening or what I had done to recieve such treatment. I was very tired as I had been in the city since 9 am and I became aware of what was actually happening and immediately became upset and left after my ticket was given. She had not rescheduled my ticket when she handed it to me anyways which led to me spending more time to figure out how to get another bus.. I was unfairly mistreated and humiliated in front of the entire terminals passengers and staff for no reason at all. That was terribly unprofessional and demeaning to me. What had I done to deserve such treatment was beyond me even hours after the event. I was in no way shape or form being rude. This is unacceptable in any way and I will be seeking legal representation to assess this very disturbing encounter. If I am not contacted within 48 hours I will seek further legal assistance to assess if this was a potentional hate/racial crime as I was one of only a few white males in the terminal.You may contact me at [protected]. I do apologize for whatever inconvenience I have caused greyhound but this situation was not even slightly my fault.
Desired outcome: Wish to speak with a greyhound representative by phone concerning this matter immediately
