On Friday June 16, 2023 I asked my wife to pick up an order from the Greenwood (Indianapolis) location. I listed her as an alternate tp pick up the order. I have severe lung damage from COVID and the air quality index on that day was too severe for me to be out in it. My wife had the order number and ID as requested. When she arrived she phone the store to advise that she was there, whereupon she was rudely advised that she was supposed to contact them by text when she was on her way and when she arrived. She tried to explain that she was not aware of that an head picked up many orders for me and it was never an issue before. When the man brought the items out, he proceeded to read her the riot act about how the system works. When she asked why is was troublesome he stated because he had two customers. She asked if he would have still had those two customers if she texted and did not see how a 15 second phone call should have caused this much distress. If this is how you want your customers treated, I guess there is always Amazon. I can get next day delivery free, and not have to put up with rude employees.
