I bought this machine on 9-1-2021 at the Shawnee, KS store. It is supposed to come with an embroidery unit (BE-18). This was a clearance machine, still on the shelf and this store didn't have one in stock. Their records showed they had 3 in stock at this store, but after several employees tried to find one, they couldn't. I was dumbfounded that 3 machines valued at $3400 walked out of the store and no one seemed concerned. They called several stores for me and found one from another state that shipped it to them and I picked it up and purchased it on 9-1-21 for the $1349.97 clearance price. When I got it home and started setting it up, I couldn't embroider, because the embroidery unit was not included. It was supposed to be in a separate box. I called the store and was told they would look into it and call me back. Two days later I called them because they had not called. I was told by "the manager" I believe named Linda, that the store they got it from didn't have one, they didn't have one and from the research she did, it was supposed to be sold separately. I said that it was not, that it was part of the machine, just boxed separately. It states so right in the manual. She said that there was nothing she could do, nor would and that I had to contact a Husqvarna representative at another store. I called the Metcalf JoAnn store she said they were at and Charlie, the Husqvarna rep. could not help me because I bought directly from JoAnn's and not his company who still had them selling for $3400. However, he did confirm that they are sold with the embroidery unit and suggested I call Husqvarna directly to see if they could address the issue with JoAnn's. They gave me a corporate number they had for JoAnn's and suggest I try talking to them. Again, Husqvarna themselves now has confirmed that machine is sold with the embroidery unit. The number they gave me for JoAnn's is a number employees can LEAVE A MESSAGE ONLY on to report issues they have with harassment or other issues. I want my embroidery unit for the machine I purchased. Because it was a clearance item, Linda informed me I cannot return it. Plus my receipt states there would be a restocking fee of $25. Please let me know who to contact to get this resolved. This is fraudulent and dishonest.
Desired outcome: I want the embroidery unit that is supposed to be included with my purchase.
