We waited for 35 minutes before anyone acknowledged us at our seats many staff walked by us and we politely asked who was waiting on us, but got no response. A few staff even completely ignored us. We never did get to order after 40 mins of waiting we left. There were plenty of staff walking around, but clearly management was an issue because no one seemed to know what tables they were waiting or what they were doing. We were at this restaurant for a total of 1.5 hours with waiting to be seated and never got waited on. Clearly management support and training is needed for this location for better business.
Desired outcome: Getting the restaurant better support to have a positive meal experience
Cracker Barrel - Service
Was at Cracker Barrel Sat. 9/8/22 approx time 6:00p.m. Bardstown Rd, Louisville, KY
Resturant was very crowded, short staffed as usual(no fault of Cracker Barrel), shortly after being seated, waitress took drink and meal order. In bringing drinks to table she spilled the glass of water on table which in turn spilled into my lap. I was soaked not only outer pants but also underepants, shirt and shoes. She tried to wipe up with cloth, was way to much for just a cloth. She sat us at different table and never returned. In leaving told manager issue, he offered to handle check. Problen being we had no food, no check. Never offered vouch for a return, only that he was sorry. Waitress never came back to us, went to another table to wait on those guest. We eat there more often than I like but husband is old on the roast beed dinner. It will be VERY long time before I go back.
Should have taken up the manager on that offer to handle the check, and ordered the most expensive things on the menu that you wanted as well as appetizers and desserts, and drinks.
