Ordered 2 meals online for curbside delivery. Received Receipt as confirmation of order on my phone. Waited approximately 15 min and called restaurant at the number posted on their curbside parking spot. Was told our food would be right out. Waited additional 15 minutes and called their number again. This time was put on hold and told they would try to locate our order. After another wait time, recalled the number. This time we were told they could not locate our order, asked what our order was and they would get it right out. After waiting another 20 minutes, my husband went into the restaurant and spoke to the Manager. He said they had not found our online order and would not locate it in their system with our receipt #, even though we had already been charged by Discover Credit Card. We were traveling through the Hammond area and finally gave up on getting food and traveled back to out home in MS. We are disputing the $22.38 charge on Discover since we never received our food.
The following is my husband's account of this situation; he sent this to me by email.
"Ordered online at cracker barrel on I-12 exit 60 in louisiana arrived checked in said they had order would be right out 15 minutes later we called back they said we had not ordered yet they said at first had it and be right out after 2 or 3 calls later I went in Mgr. Said ee ordered from a store somewhere in mississippi I showed her phone with order info it showed her store it was charged to out credit card but they refused to fill order we wasted 45 minutes there and still got charged she gave us ph#to call and it answered want to meet single women called her back she gave another number and it was not cracker barrel either. So we got no food and 45 min. Wasted time and got charged for it. Today I called their headquarters and still got no satisfaction! They are not taking care of their customers. No more cracker barrel for us. I have called their headquarters in lebanon, tn, 6 times and emailed once and the will not correspond with me!"
Needless to say, we are both very upset with Cracker Barrel! D
