I waited three weeks for my mattress to be delivered 10/2 between 1-4. At 3:30 I called the store and the guy tells me "It's supposed to be delivered. let's hope it arrives." I then sat in a chat que for 45 minutes, was given delivery's number, was told a customer service manager would call me in 24-48 hours. I waited in another que to find out that the mattress won't be delivered and no one to deliver because it was too late. I called the store, asked for the manager who was too busy, talked to the clerk, who told me someone dropped the ball. I said I still needed to speak to the manager, who did not call that day. The next day manager (John) told me that I was given the wrong name for manager (Chris) and that I would have to call customer service and I needed to ask them to take my delivery fee off, which angered me even more because Chris never told about that fee. John apologized and said I needed to call customer service. There has been nothing but passing the buck with this company. No one from customer service has reached out to me. I received a text today saying "Good News. Your appointment for 10/19 has been confirmed." So rather than being first on the list, like I should be since they screwed up, you people push me to the end of the line and make my new appointment on a work day, where I would have to take off of work and my husband would not be there. And the attitude is like, "Take it or leave it, that's what's available." The only redeeming employee is the delivery call agent Debra who gave me her number. I called her today and received a quick call back. She got me a Saturday appointment 14 days late and reversed my delivery fee.
The first weak link in the chain is the Metairie, Louisiana store and the two managers there Chris and John. When I called at 3:30, someone could have CALLED DELIVERY, but no, they blew me off and my concerns were minimized because all they cared about was getting the sale and now I'm gone and they don't care. I am seriously tempted to just cancel the whole order.
Desired outcome: Money off my order/free remotes etc and importantly first delivery tomorrow.
