Cardi's Furniture - Deliver

I purchased a dinning set, I was told it would arrive 7/5. After not receiving my promised confirmation call, I emailed sales person. His response was yes it was coming today/ I received a text telling me to schedule delivery. What! It is coming today, isn't it! I called store to find out no delivery was every scheduled. Today ii am home and my help is here. No resolution, and I can cancel if I want to. Can't talk to a manager because they are all busy helping other people. 3pm, still no call back. I was told I could pick up my own order, but they wouldn't compensate for a truck. They will upgrade me to express, but I work and of course no lost wages. So I should wait for 2 more weeks until I can be home. I was assured verbally and in Cardi's email it was coming today. My table is gone so kids should eat on floor.? WOW, never felt so undervalued and I have to pay the price for your screw-up. Have you ever heard of going above and beyond? I am supposed to be happy With... Come home early from work and we will be out several days from now and be satisfied because instead of charging you to set it up, we will set it up for free. How does that fix this. Far cry from the original store's caring and customer service all those years ago. Family values and customer service makes them a one of a kind company, the internet says. Not true, but I can cancel my order if I am not happy, they say.

Desired outcome: My order today as specified when I paid and again guaranteed via email this mooring

We also had some challenges with our sectional breaking down, and even with the replacement (and on-site maintenance, it must’ve been the general construction. But during the several communications with Cardi’s, and when dealing with Ken in the Seabrook store, we finally had a resolution. And it’s fantastic! I can’t speak enough about the fairness of the staff, the effort to repair the original two sectionals…and although frustrating at times, they heard us in the end and we’re so happy with what we now have.
