Had my eye exam and picked out frames on 8/10/19. It has been almost a month. I called a week later when they told me my glasses would be ready. I was told the lenses were on back order. Then I was told they were in and would be ready next day. Called next day and it was the wrong lenses, and my lenses were still on back order. The manager then got on the phone and told me not to call anymore, that they would call me when they were ready. I live an hour away from Frederick so it would be nice if they kept me updated on what's happening, plus I need my glasses for driving. I understand things being on back order but there is no communication from this store and waiting a month is just ridiculous. Then staff treats you as if you're wrong for wanting your glasses after they've been paid in full. Glasses in about an hour my @$$. I called last week because I still hadn't heard anything and was told they had to re-order my lenses again to see which arrived first, the ones they previously ordered, or the ones they just ordered and the manager in snipe remark said, "I don't know what else to tell ya!" No, I'm sorry for your inconvenience or any type of apology for that matter. Manager is so rude. She needs a course in customer service. Some thing is not right with her and someone should look into her conduct and her business ethic. Very disappointed and upset.
LensCrafters - product not received.
8/10 had eye exam and purchased glasses, thought they'd be ready next day. They called me on my way home, did not have lenses, told me it would be a week. I don't live in Frederick, I live 45 minutes away, so I needed to arrange when I could come pick them up. Called 8/16 to check status, told me to give it 2 more days. Not supposed to be driving without glasses. I haven't heard a word, so I called 8/21, lenses on back order should be in by Friday. Called 8/23, lenses are in should be ready Saturday. I don't hear from them 8/24, Saturday morning, so I call in the afternoon, lenses are still on back order. I'm told by the manager to stop calling them everyday and they will contact me when glasses are ready. I only called when I was told they would be ready. Glad I didn't drive there. I haven't heard a word from lens crafters, no apology, no update. It'll be 3 weeks 8/31. Will never do business with them again. Unprofessional, rude, no communication whatsoever, no I'm sorry for the inconvenience and the manager has an I don't care attitude, definitely needs training in customer service. Spoke to another Lens crafters who agreed that this is unusual and surprised at how I am being treated. Will continue to complain until I get my glasses. Unbelievable! Doctors side of the business was great, no complaints with them.
LensCrafters - glasses
I was told my glasses would be ready in a week, called and was told 7-10 days then told the following Friday (2 weeks). I was told they finally had the lenses that were on back order, still waiting for a call, I called again Saturday. They received the wrong lenses still on back order. They acted like I was the one in the wrong for checking on my glasses. Told me to just wait until I hear from them. I needed to stop calling. I only called when I was told the glasses would be ready. The guy who answers the phone completely clueless. The manager (female), rude and unapologetic. Going on week 3 without my glasses. Not supposed to drive without them. I'm finished with LensCrafters. Doctor was great! Very disappointed in the service from the eyeglass dept. Ridiculous! Each time I had to reach out to them. If I hadn't called I would still be in the dark.. very unprofessional, terrible customer service..
