Wife and I purchased glasses from your lake Forest location in February. When speaking to the associate we were informed we only needed the protection plan if we broke the glasses and we're covered for a year without the protection plan for non broken glasses.
It's July 20th and using your cleaner and the coach wipe which was recommended and given with purchase. We noticed after cleaning it with YOUR cleaner, on one of the lenses there are round spots inside the lense now only a few months after purchase.
We went to lake Forest mall in Gaithersburg MD where we purchased mine and her glasses and was told by the assistant manager that nothing we can do except repurchase new lenses. I explained to the assistant manager this is what your associate said to us 1 year and all she had to focus on was our policy of protection plan speech.
I explained again if your TRAINED ASSOCIATE YOURS NOT MINE properly informed us we would of got the protection plan. So the consumer us is misinformed by your associate it's still our fault not yours there was no ownership on this locations mistake / error.
Store manager came out and gave the same spill as the assistant backing up her subordinate but still no ownership on their associates error.
So bottom line is were stuck with a now messed up lense from apparently your cleaner that was recommended for our glasses and they take 0 fault in this. I need a leader with a customer service focus and not a dollar sign metric of we lose sales if we fix it for free due to a not properly trained associate to contact me.
