AmeriGas Propane - Propane service

I keep receiving past due notices for the tank removal of my propane tank. Amerigas allowed my 83 year old mother to run out of gas for 10 days in January 2022 and did not come to fill the tank for 10 days after I called to notify them. My mom who lives in my home, depends on propane for heat and cooking. I found Amerigas to be impersonal, and did not care about the fact that my mother went without heat during the "COLDEST MONTH" of the year.

We used to get great service from Amerigas, but once they grew larger they did not have the infrastructure set up appropriately to hand the growth or to service their clients properly. We were charge this fee of $149.00 that we will NOT pay as it is to remove the tank. We were to get a refund of the gas from the tank which we have not received! Bottom line, Amerigas really let us down

Desired outcome: To have this [ast due invoice voided, and to reimburse us for the gas in the tank that they took 4 months to remove from my yard, even after numerous reminder calls.

AmeriGas Propane - They won't refund my money

I overpaid my budget account by $236. Additionally, when I cancelled service, Amerigas picked up their propane tanks and said they would refund me for the amount of propane that was left in the tanks. Both tanks were 3/4 full (~75 gals in each) for a total of 150 gallons of recovered propane. I have been trying to get my refund since September of 2014. Amerigas employees (Eric, Brionne, Christine) said they were investigating my request. After approximately 8 calls from me to them and 3 calls to the Amerigas headquarters for assistance, the Amerigas employee, Christine, told me on January 13, 2015, that she was issuing me a check for $936.00. That amount covered the $236 overpayment and $700 for the recovered propane. She said the check would get to me in about 10 days. Nothing yet. I have left numerous messages and no returned calls. Please help. I have witnesses who can verify how much propane was in the tanks according to the gauges when they were recovered and also saw Amerigas pick them up.
