Today 11/28/23 around 2pm, I placed an order for a bowl and a burrito in the app. Order confirmation number ex6-va2 to be picked up at 2:40. I arrived to the chipotlelane at 3:00 pm. When I arrived, I showed the employee my confirmation via my phone, and she looked at the bags at the window and stated that my order was a door dash order, and it was being delivered to me. I asked "delivered", I didn't order delivery. The employee went and got the manager who refused to provide her name after me asking at least 3 times. I explained to her what I was told and she became upset with me telling me that if I wanted my food I had to wait for it to be remade. I obviously knew that, but she was very nasty to me as if it were my fault that they were to incompetent to see that my order was a pick-up. To add insult to injury the same manager began to talk trash with the lane employee as if I was not a priority or paying customer. I beeped my horn several times at the window to get the managers attention and she ignored me. I then pulled out of the chipotlelane and parked my vehicle and went in the inside. Once I got to the counter I summonsed the same manager to me and she looked at me and ignored me as if I weren't there. I became furious and asked for my money back and she said I wasn't getting my money or the food and told me to get out. I told her I wasn't going anywhere until I received a refund. She refused again, customers begin to hear and were saying how rude she was. Another woman who said she was a manager came up and the 1st manager told her not to help me. By this time i'm so angry I told her give me my money or i'm calling corporate. The manager stated she no care because she is the manager. The second manager woman stepped up and begin to process my refund while manager 1 was still telling her not too. Manager 1 said she would call the police. I told her I will wait because you are going to explain why you refuse to refund my money. I wasted 30 mins and was 11 mins late for work and had no food. Because of this inconsiderate, incompetent, rude manager, I am forced to work my 4pm-12am without food. I am beyond pissed and not to mention I offered my coworker to get her food. This is embarrassing. The manager needs to go stand in the unemployment line, because it's obvious she does not deserve to be in the management capacity. I'm a manager at a local lowes store and i'd never act or treat a paying consumer the way she has. Also, all staff should be wearing a name tag to be identified.
Claimed loss: My food
Desired outcome: reprimand the manager and compensate me for my awful experience. I'll never patronize that location again and it was my favorite for its convience.
