YMCA

Me and my girlfriend recently we're interested in getting a membership to the YMCA in bath, upon inquiring about the price of a membership for 2 for 12 months we were quoted $1, 040. I was under the impression that the YMCA was a place that was local and community-driven that prided themselves in helping the community not trying to suck it dry just to come and use the facilities for an hour or two a week. $750 per person is a disgusting amount for a local YMCA to be charging. The average bath I could never afford a membership through you folks. Overall really think there should be some talk about lowering membership prices so that the community is actually able to use the facilities because at the price it's at now it only attracts one certain type of individual and that's one with a much higher pay grade than most of the locals in this town, and I believe that is unfair. Everyone should have an opportunity to go to the YMCA pay upwards of $400 I was willing to pay up to $400 for a 12 month membership and even that is pricey in comparison to most of the gyms in the area. Overall we are very disappointed because we're looking for some wholesome clean fun and can't even afford it. Thank you for your time and thank you for hearing me out.
