I had a root canal done on an infected tooth October 2022. They assured me saving my tooth is better than extracting. 6 months later I was in more pain then I was before the root canal. I went in, 4/13/2023 they told me the infection never cleared from the original root canal. Put me on antibiotics, and sent me out to see an endodonist that was booked weeks out. Eventually somebody from corporate called me and set me up with the original guy who did my root canal, I missed work to go and he wasn’t even in the office. I was on antibiotics for over a month before I was finally able to get it fixed. 5/18/23.. Now, my crown doesn’t fit so I have to pay for a new crown. I can’t get ahold of anybody in customer service. The office itself is no help. I want compensation for what I had to pay to get this all situated and for the waste of my time.
Desired outcome: Compensation for the re treat root canal I had to pay out of pocket, and for the new permanent crown I will need. Will be over 2000…
Aspen Dental - The dentist
I came there with severe tooth pain, had 3 extractions. When the dentist was doing the extractions I asked for her to please stop for a second I felt as if I was hyperventilating and she kept going. All though she did her job that was the worst dental experience I've have ever had. When everything was done I was taken to the front to pay and was never given my prescriptions for pain and antibiotics so when I left aspen dental I went to my pharmacy nothing was sent over and they where closed. I had to wgo all night after 3 teeth extractions with no pain pills and I have an infection in my gum so no antibiotics either. The next morning I called aspen dental to be told "you should have full paper scripts" I told them I don't I don't feel well I need those scripts sent to my pharmacy the girl said fine. She then called me back said I had to come get scripts. I got dressed drove there to be told to have a seat the scripts still where not ready. I waited 30 minutes then was given one script for pain pills and they where sending the other 2 over. I did not appreciate the way Dr Patricia Lucas treated me the whole time it made me get even more upset and scream like a fool when she was pulling the 3 teeth. The office girls where very nice. But the dentist just left my room once the extractions where done and only checked on me once. I work in healthcare and can never imagine treating a patient the way I was treated. That is my one and only visit to your Taylor, MI Aspen Dental never ever again.
