On 12/14/21 I purchased a $1221.00 (leather sofa) and decided to exchanged it for something else in the store on 12/24/21. I contacted the Manager at the Taylor location by the name of Ashley she stated because I was a few days(2) over my 7 days exchanged she couldn't honor it. So I ask for the corporate phone number in Auburn Hills and talk with a so call corporate manager by the name of O'Shay. He stated to me that he couldn't honor my exchanged as well. Like I told both managers that we all lose track of time especially by me being a police officer. So at this point I'm out of $1221.00 for a sofa that don't go with my living room. I think their policy is reckless and management should at least honor the customer especially if they just spoken to the customer a couple days prior. The manager Ashley at Taylor MI location stated "she's not responsible for calling customer back". My point of this comment is that as a manager if you knew you spoke to a customer in regards to a returned IT IS your responsibility to reach out. ITS"S CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Gardner-White Furniture - Recliner chair and overall bad customer service
I ordered a new mattress and box spring which came with a free 32-inch TV. I also ordered a new rocker recliner chair. They said they would pay the sales tax, they didn't. The mattress was back ordered. It wasn't until I called to see about switching to a different mattress that was in stock that I learned it was in the warehouse. It was delivered on Dec. 18th. I didn't get the code for the free TV. The recliner chair has been pushed back every month now until end of February. Meantime I keep getting text messages and emails about buying a product and receiving a free recliner. Also emails that my gardner white card is ready for payment! Nothing like paying for something I haven't received yet. Really disappointed in the service! Because of Covid and health issues I do not want to go into the store. All this was done online.
Desired outcome: I want another chair or cancel the chair and take it off my bill. I want the Tax taken off my bill, and I want my Free TV.

I've dealt with this company for years and they have some of the most unprofessional individuals working
They made it very hard to use warranty they avoid calls to prevent servicing as well as emails at times
The Quality of furniture is not what it used. Along with the quality of service makes it not worth dealing with the company .
My last expo w a manager A***** at Taylor Mi Location was one of the most unprofessional experiences she constantly over talked me and made it very hard to obtain her superiors info to address warranty issues and due to her actions I'll never spend another dime .
Save your hard earned money for a company who's gonna respect and appreciate its customers .
Gardner-White Furniture - A bedroom set
I placed an order Feb 21st they told me my order would reach the store on the 23rd. My order did not reach the store when I was told. I called the store a week later and they told me that my order would not be in till the middle of March. No one called or emailed me any info. Very unprofessional. I don't like I had to call the store to figure out what was going on and was no communication on the company end
Gardner-White Furniture - mattress
I purchased a mattress on April 30th. It was delivered on May 1st. After 5 days of tossing and turning I called to say I wanted to switch it out for another mattress. I was told I had to sleep on the crappy mattress for 60 days and then pay $289 to get a new one. I was never offered a technician to inspect it for defects. I have shopped at Gardner White over the years but I will never shop there again. I plan to contact my attorney as well as the BBB.
