Gardner-White Furniture - Sectional couch

I purchased a sectional couch from GW at the mid end ofJune of 2020 and I didn't receive until the middle of of august 2020 I didn't even have a week and I had to get the ottoman pillow sewed at the cleaners then about a month later the wiring is coming out the top the boards are coming out the back it's sad I spent 1000 dollars on this couch haven't had it for a year I'm just out of money and furniture now I'm moving and I can't take this couch with me it's terrible GW in warren should go out of business make it so bad I don't have no kids the couch just started tearing up and the delivery guys the one who put it together I know I'm not getting my money back or no new furniture but something needs to be done like seriously nobody have money to throw away

Gardner-White Furniture - Living room set

Bought furniture 2019 march 2020 broken call emailing texting months no response ended up filing a dispute with bank determined the furniture was poor craftsmanship I pick something out for the price that I already paid on the credit card they will not let me do that treated me poorly ignored me for months I had a broken living room set in my living room for a year

Gardner-White Furniture - Pub table set and 3 piece sectional

I ordered a 5 piece bedroom set a 3 piece sectional and pub table set from Gardner white furniture online my order went through i thought everything was ok until i never recieved a phone call from a sales associate to schedule delivery so i walked in to the store sterling heights location they tell me my order not even in stock i was really confused at first because they took my money off my card almost 3000 dollars so they ask me did i want a refund as if it was so easy looking for furniture and moving i said no so i waited bout a month and finally recieved my 3 piece sectional and my 5 piece bedroom set i was happy to recieve anything i havent had the couch set 2 months the first week my whole couch pillow to my ottoman was ripped bad i had to take to the cleaners and get it fixed cause i knew they wasnt gone do anything about it my bedroom set is fine no problems but i still havent recieved my pub table set i have been to the store several times they just keep lying telling me its coming its been since june i will never order any items from them they bad for buisness and the last time i went in there the sales associate was acting like he wasnt there and his staff members act like they didnt know who i was talking about his name is alin barbat

My order was paid through paypal, thank goodness as I was able to have my never acknowledge order refunded through a claim. Also, repeated emails to GW ignored. It is my belief this business does not need my business. Moving along

Gardner-White Furniture - delivery

I received a call on 11/14 that my items were in stock and ready to be delivered. It was not until 11/15 that I scheduled my delivery for 11/18 I remember being very specific in needing a morning delivery. The representative I spoke with assured me I would receive a call between 8am-10am. On Saturday afternoon I realized Sunday was cleared for my schedule (the agent stated they do a Sunday deliveries as well) I left a detail message at the warren/14 mike office that anytime Sunday would work, but when I never received a call back I figured I can just wait until Monday morning. Monday comes along with no phone call from 8-10. I called left another message and received yet again no call back. I then called back within the hour this time I requested (hit the option for customer service versus delivery) and a representative came on the line, reviewed my file based on phone number and stated the delivery is between 4:30pm-7:30pm. This is not what I asked for nor what it ever confirmed. I have taken off work this morning for a delivery that was changed without my consent. He offered another day to deliver, but how is this helpful when I work as well. When I purchased the furniture the sells team was absolutely amazing so I am not sure where the disconnect transpired, but to say I am frustrated as a customer I requested a time if it could not be accommodated I should have been respected enough to get a call back (2 voicemails no return calls) and/or a update to my delivery I am thinking morning and now I have to change my afternoon work schedule for delivery later today unbeknownst to me.

Gardner-White Furniture - as5001 recliner lift chair recliner

I purchase a recliner on 9-29-2018 upon delivery it was discovered that the motor was dead they were going to replace the motor. I objected and received another one. Here I am 11-20-2018 and again the motor is shot they're trying to replace the motor. This is unacceptable I asked for a new one the manager at the Warren store said there are no more., I requested another brand. She refused who would want this where the same problem has happiend twice. My final response to her I know you don't care but my association with Gardner White is over. sales order [protected]

Gardner-White Furniture - removal of old bedding

On 10-23-2015 we puchased a new bed from Gardner White on 14 mile in WarrenI am a 69 year old and purchased a new bed on Thursday of last week.The salesperson told me that removal of the old bedding was included in the price of the new bed. When the delivery guys came, they examined the old mattress very studiously and proclaimed that there was a problem with the old bedding and they were not able to put the box spring or the mattress on the truck. The small dark piece of lint was not moving. A magnifying glass was not used for this examination and nothing was moving. I was not home at the time but Nina related all of this info to me. I'm not sure why they refused to remove the old bedding but there must have been some financial incentive for them to do so. After several calls to the store, I disputed the charge as I feel that we were given the oil 369 and this is just another example of lousy service and refusal to honor the contract with the customer. Repeated calls to the store only resulted in the offer to call the delivery outfit, which is not the party that promised the service to us. The mattress and box were moved to backyard on Friday and it rained on Saturday. I have notified my charge card company to dispute a portion of the charge. In addition, I intend to file a small claims action against Gardner White for specific performance. Buyer beware when dealing with this outfit! If they pick up my old bedding I will remove my disputed charge.If they would even return my calls it would be nice, but to ignore me and and my concerns is ridiculous.
