This Store: 12042 E 10 Mile Rd, Warren, MI [protected]
On [protected] I took my Autistic daughter to have her first cell phone experience. The website and the physical door of the location said they were open until 7. We arrived at 6:310 and the place was closed.
On [protected] I again took my daughter to try to get information on cell phone services. We have never experienced such horrible service before.
The sales rep (a Male, with black hair, dark brown eyes, and of Middle Eastern descent) was not helpful when my daughter asked for information on the plans. He pointed at a wall poster and said all the info was there. I stepped in and explained that this was her first experience with cell phones and needed him to explain to her what the terms mean (ie: hotspot, GB, data usage, etc). He then said that we could go online to get that information. I again stepped in and explained that my daughter was not good at using the internet, which is why we were physically here at a store.
He then proceeded to tell her that the phone she had was too old and she had to get a new 5G network phone because all others would no longer be serviced. (That is not true!) He told her only about the highest plan and said she got a new phone. We discussed, in front of him, how much money she had and that she couldn't afford that plan - nor did she need anything more than 2GB of data and unlimited calls. He continued to demand that she buy a new phone and told her it was free. He began to ring her up for the new phone and highest plan. He then told her that she needed over $100 for the phone & service. When I again stated to him that she did not want or need a new phone and only wanted information on plans under $50 (her budget), he then refused to talk to us anymore & just said "Have a good day". I asked for a physical pamphlet or hand out about the plan options and he said he didn't have any and to go online and "Have a good day". I restated online was not a good option for us and asked him again for something to take home. He grudgingly gave us a pamphlet sitting on the counter. She didn't understand why the pamphlet said she could get a plan for $30 (or even the $60 he was trying to force on her) but then he wanted over $100. I explained to my daughter that there was an activation fee and probably a charge for the sim card, but the sales rep wouldn't give us that information - he kept saying "Have a good day" & dismissing us.
I have never experienced such unhelpful, uninformative, and rude customer service in my life. My daughter has never been treated with such dismissiveness and disrespect before. I will never deal with TMobile again if this is who they allow to represent them.
