Had an appointment on Monday May 22, 2023 at 830am. I checked in on my phone in the parking lot. My phone stated the lab worker will text me when ready for me. I decided to go into the building. I just sat down in the waiting room and the lab technician came out and stated are you Laura. I said yes. Well we called your name. My phone never did get a text message stating they were ready for me. Also, the lab technician did not introduce herself to me. She was very rude. I tried explaining that I was to receive a text message and she cut me off in the middle of my conversation. Was very rude and this was my first time ever using Labcorp for bloodwork. I will have to consider going somewhere else for the next blood work. If, your employees cannot follow the proper protocol as what is stated on the check in on the phone then you as a company need to look at your website for what your customers need to do and update. Your lab technician should at least introduced herself.
Desired outcome: Lab technician to introduce themselves. Not to be rude to patients. Explain things to the customer.
