He does not like pets and women.
After a very long day of packing and driving, I looked online and saw an ad for Red Rood Inn stating they love dogs. We pulled off at the exit that had the closest Red Roof Inn. I showed the manager the code the site had for a percentage off, gave him my driver's license and credit card, went to the room and fell asleep while my husband continued unpacking the car and bringing the dogs in.
He told my husband he needed to speak to me while my husband was still bringing things into the room about 25 minutes later.
My husband woke me up and I went back to the desk. He said I wasn't finished checking in, (not sure why my husband couldn't do that?) stuck a paper in front of me and told me to sign it. I signed it and went back to sleep. Next morning when we were all packed up and ready to leave, my husband had the dogs on leashes, opened the room door and the manager was actually standing in front of our door startling the dogs and my husband. As they ran into the hall excited to go outside they barked and my husband pulled them back in the room. The manager moved out of the way and my husband took the dogs out. I was still in the room getting the last of our stuff ready to go. After at least 10 minutes, I left the room with the last of our stuff including a kitten wrapped in a towel (that we found the day before and kept in a box). The manager was still standing at the door as I walked out. He started yelling at me as I was leaving. He yelled a lot and said "your dogs attacked me". I stopped just enough to tell him to check the room it was immaculate. He continued yelling as I walked out. I looked on my credit card later that night and there was an additional charge on my credit card. I have pictures of the room and there is no damage nor signs of an animal being there.
Desired outcome: Do not force people to sign things especially when they're tired or have been sleeping. If you don't like animals then don't say they are welcome somewhere. You do not charge $200 because you don't like a customer.
