I checked into Hometowne Studios Rancho Cordova Ca on March 30 2022 using a Mastercard to pay for the room deposit. I checked out on August 22 2023. During my 18 month stay the credit card I used had been lost and replaced with a new card. I forgot to inform the hotel of the card number before I checked out.
Once I informed the front desk of problem, I was told I would be sent a check for the deposit amount but it would take up to 12 weeks. After the 12 weeks passed, I called the property and was unable to get in contact with anyone who could help me. I called, emailed and wrote to the corporate offices and eventually was told by the property that a check would be issued. Although I supplied my current address in all my calls and correspondence, I was told my refund check could be sent to the address I had when I checked in. That address was temporary- I haven't lived there in 5 years, so there is no forwarding order there for me.
It has now been 7 months since I checked out of that hotel and I have no indication that I will ever get my money back. I belong to the rewards program for this hotel chain and would have anticipated better service.Hotel
