Great communication, easy to make changes in our itinerary (even when we were in country on the vacation) and all the tours Pacific Trade Winds suggested were fun and professionally done. Highly recommend this tour company. This is the second time in 5 years we have used them and they were wonderful each time. They answered any and all questions and concerns that we had in a timely manner and were super helpful navigating travel during these crazy covid-19 times.

Pacific Trade Winds did an excellent job in planning our trip to Costa Rica! We could not have been happier. Everything went so smoothly. Twice we decided we would like to change our transfer times, and PTW responded within 30 minutes both times; no questions asked and our times were changed. They are responsive and thorough. I was skeptical because I always plan my own vacations, but PTW made this so easy. I would definitely recommend this company to any of my friends or family.

Absolutely amazing tour company! We did a 9 day CR trip through this group, and it was the best thing we ever did. Hotels were wonderful, every transfer driver arrived promptly and drove well, tours were arranged to perfection. Staff at PTW worked with us to make our dream itinerary, and checked in with us each step of the way to ensure that we could just relax and enjoy our vacation. And they stayed within our budget- will work with whatever budget you give them. They deserve 10 stars honestly. Would gladly use them again.

Amazing tour company. Quickly responded to every one of my emails. Helpful and very knowledgeable, they guided me to pick tours that worked out so well for me and my daughter. Seamless and smooth pick up from airport even after we had to wait a long time at immigration. All of the transfer personnel and tour operators were professional, informative and friendly. PTW helped me figure out how to get the covid testing handled while we were away. They helped me have a memorable mother-daughter trip with fabulous memories to last a lifetime. Pure perfection!

We just returned from Costa Rica (1/2022) and had an amazing trip thanks to Pacific Trade Winds. We received quotes from 2 other travel agencies and found, PTW the most responsive, timely and competitively priced. They arranged our private transportation, resorts in two areas, and 5 tours/activities. It was amazing. Everyone is very kind and their response time is exceptional. While in CR we had contact with them several times for a few time adjustments and they always responded quickly and took care of our needs. I highly recommend them and will use them again for travel.

We used Pacific Trade Winds for our March trip to Costa Rica - our first trip to this beautiful place! Communication was friendly, prompt and informative - I asked so many questions as we prepared for the trip and everyone on the PTW's Team was excellent - they planned a trip that was on budget and each location we stayed was perfect for our family. The activities were fun, the itinerary was spaced well and it provided an opportunity to see 4 unique locations of Costa Rica in 11 days - everything was just as they said it would be including the car rental. We all had an awesome time! We are so grateful to PTW's!

My son and I returned recently from 10 days in CR, arranged by PTW. I have never experience this kind of excellent service before, from planning itineraries to ensuring a smooth and enjoyable vacation. We had the time of our lives ziplining, canyoning, rafting, hiking, and chillin on the beach. Pacific Trade Winds gave me and my girlfriend an excellent Costa Rica tour in Dec. 2021. We spent 3 days near the Arenal Volcano at the wonderful Arenal Springs Resort and Spa. We did white water rafting and waterfall rappelling. Then we stayed 3 days at Casa Conde Beachfront Resort on the beautiful Playa de Flamengo on the Pacific Ocean. Casa Conde Beachfront Resort was all-inclusive. We enjoyed jet skiing, ocean kayaking, and swimming. All tours, accommodations, and transit were excellent. Neither of us speak Spanish, which was no problem, because everyone spoke fluent English. Pacific Trade Winds was very prompt, helpful, and completely professional. Great fun and great value!

Thanks to the kind folks at Pacific Trade Winds, my wife and I had an absolutely glorious 40th wedding anniversary vacation to Costa Rica. The countryside and the people all exceeded my wildest hopes. The waitstaff at the restaurant we dined at*** have a special place in my heart; they treated us like we were a king and queen. I'm not sure how Costa Rica does it, but the culture seems to be one of the warmest and most friendly that we have ever encountered. Pacific Trade Winds staff not only helped us design and book our vacation activities and in-country travel, but also gave us a hotline to call 24/7 should anything go awry--which it did not. Everything was perfect and timely.

I had a great experience with this company. I started making plans over a year ago. They were super helpful finding activities that would be good for me and my friend who was traveling with. At the very last minute my friend was not going. I had to make changes so I could still go. Pacific trade winds was so patient and understanding. They always emailed me or called me right back. I have never had such great customer care from a company. They helped me plan an amazing vacation for myself. All of the tours they set me up with were great. The vans were clean and in great condition the guides were knowledgeable and fun! Everything they had scheduled for me went so smoothly. Absolutely a great company!

My family and I wanted to take a celebratory vacation to Costa Rica. Unfortunately we planned it for exactly the time that everything shut down due to the pandemic. Pacific Trade Winds helped us put the trip on hold until travel was possible again. We waited for 2 years and when I reached out to them, they were able to reschedule everything. They exceeded our expectations. They helped us put together a great itinerary, leaving enough down time to plan other excursions on our own. When we decided to leave one destination early to go to our next one, they responded immediately and helped us change our plans seamlessly. I highly recommend them. Pacific Trade Winds provides an excellent service! My family wanted to travel to Costa Rica, and with their professional help, we were able to plan an itinerary and book some tours. We decided not to rent a car, and they provided van service between the locations- each driver was a delight and we enjoyed their company. The accommodations, while moderately priced, were each wonderful in their different ways. My family had an awesome week in Costa Rica with the advice and bookings of the Pacific Trade Winds. If we are blessed enough to return one day, we will definitely use Pacific Trade Winds again, and we highly recommend this company for anyone considering a family vacation to Costa Rica! I am so pleased with Pacific Trade Winds (PTW)! I found PTW by a Google search for travel agencies in Costa Rica, and the reviews were very good, which led me to use PTW. Every person I was in contact with was professional, helpful and very nice! I had a LOT of questions leading up to our trip, and the representatives gave me peace of mind. Even on our last day, we requested a later pickup time, and they accommodated us. I told the agent which activities we wanted to do, and whoever made our itinerary totally nailed it! Everything from the ride from the airport, to the adventures felt private and focused on us. My husband and I were totally surprised at how clean the vans were, how professional everyone was at the hotel and the activities, and how well everyone spoke English. They even tolerated me practicing my Spanish! I recommend Pacific Trade Winds (PTW) to all friends and family, and we plan on using PTW again for another trip in the future!
