Kroger

May 20 2023 the wife and I went Krogering. We had a bad experience checking out. There were only two employees checking out customers. The self check outs are a bad idea. There were about six people using the self checkouts and all were having problems. The Kroger self checkout assistent was runing from one to another.
This no way to treat your customers or your employees

On 9/25/22 at 9:10am I went to the Kroger store in Clinton, MS to buy groceries. One item I wanted was peppers. They had a big display with a sign saying $.99 if you buy 5 peppers but there was also a sign that just said peppers for $.99. The usual place peppers are on the shelf had the price of $.99. I asked an employee about the discrepancy and he went to ask someone and then told me they were indeed $.99 per pepper. I even took a picture of the area where the peppers are located on the shelf with the sign next to them saying $.99 and not saying you had to buy 5 to get this price. When I went to the self check out the peppers rang up a higher price. Even though I had the picture of the price she went to get the ad which showed you had to buy 5. I tried to show her the picture of the product and the price displayed but she continued to refuse to give me the price that was displayed. I went to find the employee who told me that the $.99 price was accurate. Only after pursuing this employee did she agree to give me the correct price. I even told the Supervisor it is illegal to promote one price and then charge a higher amount. She was rude.

We shop the kroger in clinton, ms. Very often because it is one of only two places to buy groceries and there service is terrible also there is a mgr there by the name of ms green when you ask her anything she is very short and sometimes rude but we only notice her being this way with caucasian customers and we also notice she seems to always seem to speak and help mostly african american customers this is so unprofessional regardless how you feel about any customer so sad that kroger would allow management to act like this. Hello Kroger, I have been a faithul kroger shopper for many years in Jackson, MS. I went to kroger on 9/20 and 9/21 for the two days sale and they had rubbermaids easy find lids boxed 18 set on sale for $4.99 each and they only had one left. And I asked for a raincheck saturday and one of the employee from customer sevice got an attitude with me and I don't appreicate how I was being mistreated. I really woud appreciate for your customer service could be more polite to there customers and not be rude.
