So I'm in North Carolina and I went to Sheetz after dark with $100 bill I ordered $75 in food and $25 in gas I got to the front to pay and they said sir we can't take $100 bill I said but wait and spending the entire $100 bill with you so you'll be giving me no change I'm sorry sir we still can't take it so I said so you're going to throw away $75 of the food because you can't take $100 bill and they said yes I thought that was a most ridiculous asinine policy I've ever heard of I mean they're trying to save $100 from being stolen robbed or taken by an employee but they're willing to lose almost $100 with a customer who comes in order food and doesn't know the policy with a hundred-dollar bill so I made it a point for them to throw away $600 in food to save potentially save a $100 bill is that the most [censored] ridiculous policy you've ever heard in your entire life Sheetz I'm going to go around every night and Order $100 worth of food at every seats until you guys get the hint I want to make sure you guys lose so much money that you'll think losing a hundred dollar bill every once in awhile is nothing and I would hope everybody else would join me and going to Sheetz in order and $100 at the food and then get into the front and trying to pay with $100 let's make them get hurt in their wallet so they'll realize how stupid their policy isI mean $100 is not as much as it used to be I mean you can drop $100 in gas tank you can drop $100 on a meal for a family of four you can drop $100 on nothing at the grocery store practically it's not like you're trying to cash a $50, 000 check people come on sheets get with it don't discriminate against Ben he's a Founding Father for Christ's sakes
Desired outcome: Four sheets to be brought to their knees and capitulate and take a hundred dollar bill is not that much money
Sheetz - restroom and store cleanliness
This complaint is about store #548. I've been to many Sheetz locations but I find this location doesn't live up to the usual Sheetz standard. The men's room smelt of stale urine on both visits and the urinals had paper towels and a scum ring around the inside. There was also small pieces of TP I'll over the floor. The drink machine counter was covered in trash and the cup dispenser only had small cups, though this only happened the first visit. The parking lot and fueling area was also littered with cups, kids, straws, straw sleeves, paper, etc. Believe it or not the truck fueling area and truck lot was actually cleaner than the car lot, and as a truck driver I have to say I'm surprised because many truck drivers are filthy slobs. As I said I've been to many sheetz including locations in Virginia and Pennsylvania and none of them have been this filthy in fact most of them have been immaculate was only increases my shock at seeing the filthy state of this location.
