Since purchase of the set we have regularly kept it inspected per Kay's protocol in July of 2019 two days after being told it was in excellent shape and nothing was loose one of the diamonds fell out. I took it to the store and they sent it off for repair, the promised return date came and went and I called questioning when it would be back after several calls with no answers them just telling me it would be back soon I went to the store and dealt with the manager who called the repair location and they stated it would be back later in the week as their original repair did not meet their official standards. It finally came back in late August. Fast forward to December of 2019 I took it to the same location for cleaning, upon getting it done and leaving the store I felt something odd on my band upon inspection there was a flaw/gash in my ring which was not there before. I took it back to them and explained what was wrong and they stated they would send it off for repairs and gave me a date of return. Well the date of return has come and gone and a sales person calls to say they can not repair my ring it will have to be replaced with a new one, the catch is he can't order a new one because they are doing invent at the current time. He says call back on Thursday of that week and he will get it ordered, on Thursday I call back and guess what they are still doing inventory he can't order it yet. So Friday I go into the store and explain once again the issue to the store manager, she calls corporate they inform her the ring has been ordered and is on its way to the store. She tells me to call her Monday to see if it's there, call her on Monday and there is no ring so she says I will need to come in to pick out a whole new ring. I ask if she will be there the rest of the day and she says no I'm getting ready to walk out the door and won't be back until Wednesday so come then. I call back in about 10 minutes because I forgot to ask her a question and the employees says she's gone to lunch she will be back in an hour. Okay so she lied to me. I go to the store at the time she's supposed to be back from lunch and there she is so I address her lying and she says I'm leaving now. She goes through a whole spill of how I have to wait for my original ring to come back before I can pick out a new one and a crap more stuff so I literally ask why I can't just pick out a ring she can hold until the other one comes in so that part will be done. She states we can do that, as I'm waiting she literally turns around and says no you can not do that. She literally got caught in several lies and kept trying to talk her way out of them. So I still have no wedding set and do not know if I ever will. I have calls in to corporate but those probably won't be returned either! Kay's jewelry is a joke! Need I add my husband got me expensive earrings for Christmas and they broke less than a month later and we are waiting on those to be repaired too!
