RE: Ford Dealership of Mooresville
151 E. Plaza Dr., Mooresville, NC 28115
Incident February 14 - February 19, 2020
Dear Sir/Madam:
I am so disappointed with Ford of Mooresville. To begin, I brought my vehicle in for an Airbag Recall on Friday morning and Friday afternoon picked up my vehicle to discover that I had no air functioning.
I went in on Saturday to be told technician that worked on the vehicle was not in, therefore they gave me a loaner for the weekend. Monday morning, I received a call the vehicle was ready for pickup. I came in to pick up vehicle and checked the vehicle before leaving the premises again NO defrost, NO heat and NO cold AIR. Spoke to "Gabe" Service Agent before leaving dealership and he also checked the vehicle saying it had to be rechecked (invoice from Friday indicated they ran a diagnostic test and no indication of a problem with vehicle). Tuesday Morning, I again brought the vehicle in to be told that they ran a diagnostic test and that they concluded they were not at fault, but are willing to fix it if I pay for the service. I told the Ford Service Agent (Gab) how did the air work Friday morning and then Friday evening it's not functioning. Again, could not explain it only to be told it was not their doing. On Wednesday, the "acting Service Manager Neal" indicated to resolve this problem they would give me a discount for labor and charge over $600.00 for service to fix something they screwed up.
I am dismayed. I had no complaint or issue with the A/C prior to bringing this vehicle into this service station! According to Ford they ran a diagnostic test Friday, but they will not give me the results of that first test.
This is unacceptable. I want to see the results of the first diagnostic and the last one done Tuesday morning, for comparison. I want proof that they actually fulfilled the recall in the first place. AND I expect my A/C will be fully functional. In short, I want the vehicle in the same condition as I dropped it off, but with the airbag issue fixed.
Very truly yours,
Lissette Caez
