I went to Speedway June 6, 2023 on West union St in Morganton, NC at about 8:40pm. My purchase was for declined by the card reader but there was $24.02 taken from my account. This is still pending in my account. I've tried calling and emailing Speedway and can't get anyone to do anything about refunding my money from a declined transaction. How does a company still take money from your account when it has been declined?
Desired outcome: I would like to get my $24.02 refunded to my account since the transaction was declined, no money should have left my account
