Last Monday I took my car to Mr. Tire in Waynesville, NC. It had been runnning perfectly but it needed a 60,000 transmission flush as per their advice on a previous trip in. It took two days for them to get my car back to me after telling me it would take two hours. After receiving it back I have felt a shuddering when turning sharp right or left. I took it back and they advised they put the correct fluid and followed all correct procedures. They were not very helpful or sympathetic to my problem. Johnny, there, told me it was probably all just in my head. I since called Subaru service and took it to another local shop where they repair a lot of Subarus. Both told me I could be in for big problems in the near future because of the issues I'm experiencing now. Appalacian Automotive advised me to flush the fluid they put in asap and they have done that for me. It's still binding on sharp turns although maybe not as much as when I first got it back. This has cost me an additional $300. I have asked Kathy at Mr. Tire to call me regarding all of this but no call back. This is following up on a complaint I called in last week and they gave me an issue number of 438360 to follow up on. I went from a car that was driving perfectly to looking at a transmission replacement if this problem should get any worse. Please have someone contact me asap regarding this issue. Desired outcome: A guarantee that Mr. Tire will cover cost of replacement transmission or repair if it fails within 15,000 miles. Reimbursement of the additional transmission flush I had to pay.
