J.D. Byrider - Car

I bought a car from them about 3 weeks ago and I’ve already had to bring it in twice. They really didn’t give me a choice of what car I could buy and they knew I was desperate. Stupid me, I believed them when they said they help people in tough situations. I drive away and realized the a.c. didn’t work. About 2 days later it wouldn’t start. I brought it into service and they said there was nothing wrong with it and they fixed the air conditioner. I drove away and the a.c. Still did not work. About a week from then, the car seems to be getting louder and louder… Something was wrong with the exhaust. I found out after that, a friend of mine bought a car (a walk before me) 2 years newer than mine, with less miles, with $400 less of a down payment than I did. And she is paying about $30 more than me a month. I’ve been without a car for almost a week (paying for Uber on top of my car payment) and today service tells me that I could have my car back tomorrow IF it works. I’ve texted and called them more than once asking what I can do to get a reliable car. No one has even bothered to get back to me. I’ve been completely taken advantage of. When I first looked into getting a car there they explained that this was a program to help people get on their feet. I’m paying $13,000 for a car (without interest) that doesn’t have air conditioning or automatic locks. On top of that it won’t run properly. They knew I was desperate and vulnerable and basically bullied me into leaving with that car. Now that I have issues they refuse to get back to me. I don’t see how that is HELPING me get on my feet at all. I’m so upset. I would absolutely never allow anyone I know to go there.

Desired outcome: I want a different car. I want something a little more realistic for what I’m paying and something reliable. I want to be treated fairly.
