My wife and I were guests at your Galloway, NJ location May 8th through May 9th. We arrived at the location at 2:10pm on the 8th looking forward to check in. When we spoke to the Desk Clerk we were told we couldn't check in till 3pm. However on our confirmation email there was nothing stated about check in time. OK that wasn't the worst problem, so we waited till 3pm and were checked in. On our way to our room one of the attendants carts with supplies were in the Hall next to our room. Innocently enough I picked up a shampoo bottle and out of the room the cart was in front of the attendant came rushing out of the room screaming at us that if you wanted something on the Cart you should of asked, that he was sick and tired of people like us stealing items off of his cart. The attendants name was Ken or Kenny by the way. He was quite loud and abusive to my wife and I demanding we get in our room. I asked this person why he was so angry and again he replied He was sick and tired of people like us stealing from his cart. Needless to say we had brought our own hygiene products and didn't need to as he stated "steal" items from his cart. I thought it settled down and my wife and I entered our room, closed the door and was discussing what had happened when we heard him continuing the shampoo incident from the other side of the door. He was in front of our door listening to our conversation! That's one incident.
I went to the soda machine on my floor and it was completely empty, so I went to the desk, that person's name was Sarah. I explained what had happened about the soda machine which she made no comment on, she then threw me a set of keys to a cooler by the desk filled with soft drinks and water. I picked 2 12oz Cokes and 2 bottles of water which she promptly charged me $8.00 for.
Another Incident:
There was a sign stating there was breakfast served from 6:30am-9:30am. So I went down to the breakfast area approximately 8:15am and was told by the desk clerk nothing was left. I couldn't even get a stinking cup of coffee or tea for my wife. With that we promptly checked out.
Sir/Madam, I've never been treated with such disrespect at any motel/hotel I've ever stayed at. We would of checked out immediately after being attacked by your Room Server but there weren't any other accommodations in the nearby area. I want you to know we're frequent lodgers at the Red Roof Inn up and down the Eastern Seaboard but after this incident we will never set foot in one of your establishments again and we will pass the word to as many people I can on Social Media about our experience. Whatever happened to us being the guests and being accommodated to the best of your ability? Your staff was downright ugly, and quite rude. Thank you for nothing.
