I bought my new travel trailer from Camping world in Toms River NJ, 8-20 and bought GS Extended Warranty. We upgraded to a Fifth Wheel, bought elsewhere 5-21, so I wanted to cancel and get refunded for warranty. Although CW sold me the GS warranty they won't issue a refund till they get their money from the insurance company the use for warranty. On 6-16-21 I requested my refund and was told 4-6 week wait time. After 5 weeks I called and was told the refund policy which I expressed my displeasure with politely. Yesterday 7-28-21 I called corporate, Marcus Lemonis phone #, which I found on line. Corporate was courteous and followed up quickly. I received a call from CW dealer I dealt with inside of 2 hrs of phone call. I was told by CW that they had received my refund from insurance company on 7-15 but only cut checks 2 times a month so they will be sending me me check when they cut it.
Again I voiced my displeasure but this time not so politely. I have requested someone from corporate call me but I'm not holding my breath.
None of this was explained when buying or when requesting a refund and only after my inquiry after 5 weeks and even then it was not explained entirely.
This will be resolved at some point in the next 1-2 weeks but is totally unacceptable.
RUN AS FAST AND AS FAR AWAY FROM CAMPING WORLD AND GOOD SAM AS POSSIBLE. THEY DO NOT CARE
Desired outcome: Quicker refund/Better customer relations
