I bought a L shaped sofa from your location 561 us-46 Fairfield, NJ 07004 & I did have a great experience. After going to different places I ended up coming back to your location because of the Ashely's warranty. Your sales person said that with the warranty the manufacture warranty would be extended. Your sales person who was great did a good job of selling the protection plan and everything she said matched with the flyer of the insurance. Anyway when I got home I realized that I was over charged for the insurance and called the manager who did a price adjustment and corrected the price. All was great until this year when I tried to actually use the warranty due to my daughter puncturing the couch in 3 different places. The claim was put in and weeks later they replied that the damage was not covered which doesn't make any sense since on the flyer it clearly states punctures are covered. I called Ashley's customer service and they keep telling me that they have nothing to do with the insurance and that I have to call them. That doesn't sit right if I was sold the insurance from the sales person and the money was collected by Ashley's. I will be making a complaint with the better business bureau about the scam that is going on with this warranty. Now that I need to use the warranty is when everyone is coming clean about the issues with the warranty. Now I'm informed that its 3rd party, now I'm informed that there is no customer care phone line that gets answered, now I'm being informed that its up to there discretion if they want to make repairs. If I would have know all this issues up front I would have not paid for the warranty. This is wrong on so many levels. I will be posting this on every media outlet that I can get my hands on to let them know about the scam. Shame on Ashleys for allowing this 3rd party company to embarrass your Ashley's name and allow them to scam your hard earned customers pockets. It's a real shame.
