I ordered contacts for my fiance' Tabitha Foltrauer on Thursday(1/9/2020) and was told that we would have them expressed to our address by Monday or Tuesday the following week. We mentioned she had one contact left and how important it was to get them. We were assured they were ordered and we gave them her Visa card for the $73.00 that insurance would not pick up. They tried to accommodate by seeing if they had a trial pair to hold her off until they arrived, they did not have them. Monday came and went and than when they did not arrive at the house on Tuesday I called gave them her information and they said they just got a shipment and that they would call me back. I said they were supposed to come via Express mail but they said sometimes they come there than they mail them. They never called. I followed up again Thursday and again they just got a shipment and that someone would call, reluctantly I gave them the benefit of the doubt and gave them the opportunity to call me back. They did not. I called back again today, Friday (1/17/2020) to see what was going on and was told that the problem was not them but that they recieved an email from the insurance and said that it would take 3 business days to rectify? Really? After 8 days of expecting her contacts and after submitting a payment for the balance we are just being told now there was a problem, and the order essentially didn't even go through? They than told me they had a monthly trial pair of contacts to hold her over until they arrived and to come when we could to get them. I called back to tell them we had someone coming in to get them and to please have them ready and thank you. My friend arrived after work at 7pm and was told they did not have them and that they thought we were talking about a trial pair of glasses?!?! I spoke to someone and they said a manager would have to call me back. I told my friend to leave and so he did. 20 minutes later a manager called me back to say they found the trial pair of contacts and that they would be there until 8pm and I had to call him back turn him around and head back in the opposite direction to get them.. I feel as though as a consumer I was mishandled and passed off to so many handlers that nobody knew what was going on and simply pacified and told I would get a call back knowing nobody would. I have been a loyal customer to Visionworks for many years but after this encounter and experience I am truly reconsidering that. I expect this to be handled accordingly and will not post a bad review until I give you a chance to rectify this matter. Please do.
