Purchased 2012 VW Tiguan on Nov 15th, 2019 with 2 remote keys. Two days after purchase I found the second remote key did not work. Made contact with dealer and was told to bring key back in and they replaced the battery. The remote still didn't work. Took it back in again for service dept to reset but they discovered the key had been drop in water and had rusted. The sales manager said it would be $400 to replace it. I told him I bought it with 2 keys and would like to have it replaced. The sales manager, Robin, said he would split the difference with me and I told him no. I bought it with 2 keys not just one. I feel they should replace the 2nd remote key with NO extra charge. The sales manager has still not returned any phone calls. I will not recommend this dealership to anyone I know.
