Budget Suites of America - Neglect of child

There is a elderly man and a young boy in a one bedroom apartment I haven’t seen him going to school and he’s been wearing the same clothes and I can hear him screaming all the time saying I want to leave I don’t want to be here anymore. I’m just worried I think someone should help him I started seeing the young boy appear 08/21/2023 and it’s been happening since then.

Desired outcome: I would like the man to be checked out and removed if possible

Budget Suites of America - Rent and Threats by Management

I've lived at the Budget Suites on

2219 North Rancho Drive Las Vegas Nv since August 3rd 2022

I have had (4) occurrences of late rent payments but always paid balance due and late fees within 7 days

I am facing my ( 5th ) late payment cause my payday is 6/28 and rent is due 6/21

I honestly feel management has bias prejudice of my skin color..I'm late for rent yet pay it within 7 days

Whereas a non Caucasian resident has not paid any rent in 3 weeks and not evicted

Desired outcome: Accept circumstances happen yeah being late on rent is not wanted..but I would be paying rent due within 7 daysDue 6/21 and can pay 6/28Managers won't work with me being it's 5th time but previous 4 all have been paid with late fees

Budget Suites of America - Being asked to vacate for requesting repairs

I am a Special Education Teacher. I was displaced due to COVID 19 last year. I stayed with friends in order to finish out the school year, but had to leave town at the end of the school year.

Over the summer my Principal contacted me asking if I would be able to return saying they really needed me right now due to the teacher shortage.

So at the beginning of this school year I moved back here to Las Vegas but I had to find emergency housing at Budget Suites at 2219 N. Rancho. I have been here 4 months now.

The unit I was given has black mold around the tub, the carpet is old and worn with bleach stains, all of the electrical sockets were loose and shorting out and some did not work at all. I had no heat and was having to use the stove for heat.

Well I recently made the mistake of complaining about these issues to management and requesting that they be repaired. I initially requested to be moved to another the unit but the management told me I would have to leave the premises for 24 hours and pay another move in almost $500 move in fee.

That turned out to be false information. The next day another manager told me you can pay $150 to transfer to another unit. By the time I got the correct information the unit I wanted to move into next door had been rented.

They sent some maintenance guys to fix the heat and electrical sockets. They were supposed to call me back about the tub. Well today I kept getting calls at work. I called back when I got off and the lady I was speaking to was very rude and had a very bad attitude. She told me that they would be scheduling a carpet cleaning, so I tried to explain to her that the carpet was not dirty but instead worn out.

At this point she snapped on me, and cut me off mid sentence and rudely told me that I was not getting a new carpet in the room. "not happening nada" totally unprofessional with a nasty attitude. We don't even talk to students behaving badly the way she came at me.So I asked her why she was being so rude and in response she went on and told me that there was no satisfying me so I would be receiving a notice to vacate the premises! I was floored and completely speechless.

Loosing my housing will cause me to have to quit my job in the middle of the school year.

This is pure spite. She could have simply said "no" in a nice polite manner.

I did not give them any bad attitude. I dont even have that type of personality and often find it hard to even speak up for myself.

I was not bugging them I just reported the issues which was obviously a big mistake. This is outrageous and totally without just cause or reason.I am being kicked out into the streets for requesting repairs.

My school is already severely under staffed and special education teachers are already in short supply.

It would be different if I had done something wrong or violated some rule. But I am being kicked out right before Christmas in the middle of the school year, simply because I had the audacity to ask them to make repairs.

No heat and faulty electrical are critical. The mold may be a health issue. As for the carpet, I was not pushing that I simply made a request. They kept calling me at work during school hours. I can't leave my students to answer or return phone calls. Then this manager is rude and nasty with me over the phone, and when I mention it, she says I am going to be asked to vacate.

This is not right. This is not right at all.

Desired outcome: To not be kicked out in the streets right before Christmas and have to quit my job and leave my students which would also leave my school understaffed during a severe teacher shortage.

Budget Suites of America - staff service/ 7 day no cause given

Hello,
My name is Trinia and is hoping to have someone to care about my concerns.
725.261.1641.

I was a loyal tenant since 2007. I do not like to complain but I feel as a returning loyal tenant I needed to let someone see how I am being treated. Even as working for a competitor with Emerald Suites South. I always recommended the location in Rancho S Las Vegas to people that needed a very safe and a positive environment to live. I never imagine after my son Josiah getting robbed at gun point we still stayed at this property. Also I was given a note about my service dogs. The front staff in the morning grabbed the paper out off my hand when I was letting her know about my emotional pets. Next folliwing week was being charge for a microwave that has not been working since we moved here. Staff harassment every week for 2 months straight than I get a 7 day no cause to move. Spoke to the GM because the AGM on the weekend especially Sam was rude. Then I had to wait until Monday to ask why and Sally said that they will not work with us because of complaints which I was not aware. For 1 there is a Security guard who I thought was my friend but I guess since I did not allow any further action now he has been putting complaints and I was never aware off. As a single mom with 2 boys living with me has put a bad taste on this property. As a lead desk clerk at my last job. We never gave anyone especially during hard times to give a 7 day no cause. My old boss with Emerald was surprise that this was given. We only gave a 5 day's pay or quit but never a no cause. We also work things out with loyal tenants that never missed or pay late. If a loyal tenant is a nuisance to the other tenants which we were never told or warned than relocate them to assist them but never put a single mom on the streets. I just recommended to other co-workers but told them not to settle in. Now we have to pack again and relocate. I was hoping this was a dream but I would never ever recommend this location so that the people or new tenants will never experience this awful feeling...Yelling from the staff especially from AGM telling me I was calling too many times and all I wanted was a answer. I was also told not to talk face to face with the GM Sally. So if this is how you are going to treat loyal tenants, maybe this place is not a place to feel home and also no free wi-fi and i was purchasing 4 × 7.50 plus rent and 80% it didn't work. We are not perfect but we will obide by the rules. It only takes to talk to as a human being not as an animal. I hate to leave this property right now especially during hard times but I guess if I might maybe get a response back from upper management and with a heart. How are we supposed to move if I am still paying rent and have until the Oct 12 to relocate our lives again. I will not be able to afford to relocate in a short time without a vehicle and a child to change school. Please assist.
