I paid $395.97 for a 3 night stay at your Auburn/Finger Lakes Region location at 37 William St., Auburn NY. Upon check in after a 75 hour work week and 7 hour drive, I was provided room keys. When we got into the room, we were less than pleased. The rug had not been vacuumed. The floors had not been cleaned. The shower was filled with dirt, scum and hair. Including all over the shower curtain. The curtains, rug, chairs, mini fridge and table were covered in stains and caked on leftovers. There were receipts and leftover food on the rug. There were toe nail clippings and bugs. We were denied request for a new room and left the hotel less than 12 hours after checking in. The conditions were unbearable, unacceptable and down right disgusting. I've been continuously denied a refund, which is absolutely unacceptable. I will be contacting every possible outlet until I receive a full refund. I have pictures to back up my claims, as well as a witness. On top of all this, when I complained of all this to the manager, his only response to me was that the entire city was dirty & disgusting. While he may be a native there, I am not. It doesn't constitute running a business that requires people to pay for accommodations that are unsanitary. I'm beyond upset and infuriated with not only this hotel but the lack of refund they are willing to provide. I should absolutely not be out any money for this at all. Especially after having to pay for an entirely new reservation somewhere else. I will be awaiting and expecting a response.
