On 9/30/19 I was in Binghamton which is 3 hours from where I reside. I was having brake pad issues. I brought it into the shop and the mechanic/manager Ben took a look at it. While taking off the tire he said the caliper amongst everything else needs to be replaced. A few days ago I heard a noise coming from my FL tire and noticed my caliper is completely rusted with a cavity in it. There is no way that this was a new part put in my car. I called shop and customer service and everyone is saying that "WE DON'T PUT USED PARTS". I get that is supposed to be your policy but I received a used part. The only way to right this wrong is to reimburse me the $225 or send me another caliper from a better manufacturer.
Thank you in advance

I replaced front calipers myself on my vehicle last summer and by January there was some surface rust. Just the nature of the beast, unless you buy a coated caliper.
