On June 9th around 10:30pm, I ordered a bowl of chicken noodle soup in the take out. When I inquired from the server if the soup comes with cornbread he indicated no. When I questioned as to why? Because when I go the Dallas BBQ in Washington Heights they include cornbread with the soup. Well this server indicated to me and I quote " well you shouldn't have ordered this food " because it doesn't not come with cornbread ! I stood there in shock. The server was a middle aged Indian gentleman with jet black hair dressed in black. I was totally appalled with this gentleman response. The absolute nerve of him to state that. I can order whatever I choose to.
I asked for the manager'. When the manager came over I briefly explained to him what transpired and he said he would speak to him. Unfortunately, I don't believe he reprimanded this employee at all. The next day up until today I have been experiencing diarrhea since I ate that soup. If It is found that something was placed in my soup by this server I will be filing a lawsuit. I have never been treated in such a Disrespectful Manner as long as I've been patronizing Dallas BBQ.
Desired outcome: First I want a verbal apology then I want this employee to be reprimanded and sent to a workshop to learn how to treat and converse with customers properly.
Dallas BBQ - Product and service!
8/23/21 6:59pm I placed an order at BBQ CoOp City. I received it at 8:56pm. I am approximately 1/2 mile away. I was told to give them 45mins. I called back in an hour, I was then told there was a problem with delivery and it would be another 30 mins. I received cold food, and an incomplete order. I did not receive the chili that goes with the taco salad, nor the sour cream. I called back again, I'm on hold for 8mins& 56 seconds to be told by the manager that they cannot deliver the items they left out, and I would have to call Door Dash. I call Door Dash and the driver's number is no longer available. This is the absolute worst service and product I have ever received. I will never go to this place again.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund for the $25.93 I spent for waiting 2 HOURS for a cold and incomplete order.
Dallas BBQ - Event birthday party disaster
I am writing this complaint to the Bay Plaza Dallas BBQ's manager Anthony, and well as the on duty Manager (of Indian descent). On 3/4/2021 I contacted BBQ and spoke with Anthony about a surprise birthday dinner for my mom. He sent the wrong menu, and now I've based my event on what was sent and have been told no I can't use that now. Ruining my surprise birthday dinner for my mom, who I explained to him recently had a stroke, and we wanted to bring our family together in solidarity and use your venue as the meeting place. Throughout this process Anthony has been super evasive, and I've been in contact a lot to only get responded every so often. Once we decided to go through with it, my sister goes to the location To sign the contract and leave a deposit and the manager on duty (which should've been Anthony because he said he'd be there but WAS NOT) said we couldn't use the menu sent and accused of us picking the wrong menu when we were SENT THE MENU by Anthony. Even with his mistake we are being faulted. As my sister began to depart, this manager bad-mouthed her and had a few unpleasant things to say about my sister. This is ridiculous. And very UNPROFESSIONAL! My mom's birthday surprise was supposed to be March 20th 2021 at 6pm. I am now stuck deciding if I want to even have it there being I was misled and then lied on. I've even had an event a few years back for my mom at your location. The reason why I came back in the first place. But now I feel very disrespected, unappreciated as a returning customer willing to spend hundreds of dollars at your establishment. This is not the way you treat people. Own up to your mistakes and make it right for the customer. And the next time the managers want to trash talk a customer, at least wait until we leave. This is truly pathetic behavior.

Dallas BBQ - order was incomplete and missing food
I order on 4/18/20 the food I order was incomplete and missing food. I order 20 sticky wings that came with no sauce just fired and I order a combo of beef ribs and honey chicken and shrimp I didn't get my shrimps and no sauce on my chicken. I ordered chicken tenders they came hard n dry. They didn't have a side order of fries either. I always order veg tempura they did t send no sauce. This restaurant should not take advantage of people due to the Covid 19. I also over heard one of the employees say the people who work in the kitchen was mad and wanted to close the kitchen very unfair. I would like to speak to someone.
Dallas BBQ - service
We visited this location on 9/14 at around 4pm. The hostess was incredibly rude, a customer service training is an understatement. She spoke to ever patron with an attitude. I could take her rudeness. After she seated us she told us our waiter would
Be 5 minutes. My waiter didn't show up for about 15 minutes. She walked by our table about 4 times before she decided to take our order. Considering how long she took we decided to order everything at once just in case she disappeared again and to ensure we didn't have the same issue as the table
Next to us. In which she seemed to forget an order. Overall I won't be coming here again or to any BBQ's.

To whom it may concern:
Dear sir or miss, on sunday 15th september 2019, about 3:45 pm, my wife, grandson, and myself enter one of your restaurants on bartow ave in the bronx ny to dine. After being ushered to our table to be seated, it took quite sometime before someone came over to take our order. (maybe about 10 minutes or more) but that was not the issue. Upon exiting the diner about 4:50 pm we were leaving single file my wife, my grandson, (who is just 3 years old by the way, and myself) as it was somewhat crowded towards the front of the restaurant. As I passed the stairway for the 2nd floor, your manager/ supervisor, (did not want to properly identify himself) another worker had to give us a 1st name only. Which I interpret to mean marion, rushed pass and bump me out the way, and said nothing. I immediately turn around and said, "well excuse me"! He then said to me, "no, you excuse me, whats the big deal I bump into you what do you want? Sarcastically he said,"I am sorry, now get the [censored] out of here"I then said"what the hell you carrying on like that for, what is wrong with you?"he then went into a obscene tirade."who the [censored] is you, come up in here disrespecting me like that because I [censored]ing bump you, get the [censored] out of here! I then said to him... "you the manager and carrying on like that? You are a [censored]ing idiot! He then said to me..." you are lucky I am working now, because if I catch you anywhere on the streets I will [censored] you up!"I then repeated what I told him before... You are a [censored]ing idiot! My wife tried to speak to him, he refused to give any of his information. What made me more annoyed was the fact that he was rushing pass me just to go and stand with an employee to chit chat. No emergency there!
At this point I am contemplating legal council because of the threat made to my person. I cannot go to a diner to eat with my family and have my life be threatened by, of all persons a manager of a restaurant. I will not be going back to dallas bbq again, and I will strongly encouraged all my family members and friends to stay away. I know you have video cameras in your facility and your manager might be tempted to edit them, otherwise you should have a good account of your manager"s behavior as well as mine.
