I picked up burnt dry ribs order #1097261. I called well before closing to complain and went immediately on hold with no reply. Was kept on hold until 11, then was hung up on. Of course, they stopped answering at 11 on the dot. Now I want my money back and I want whoever was playing the phone game dealt with as well. The ribs don't fall off the bone when they are burnt. They're dry ashy and inedible.
Called next day to complain asked for a manager and was transferred to the other employee at the takeout desk. Told him my issue and was told i would have to go back with the food. I told him they were welcome to pick ut up, but I would not inconvenience myself any further. He referred (put me on hold) me to the manager.
I was on hold for 22 minutes and told the manager was too busy, could I call back.
It's 23$. I Won't jump through hoops to get a refund I derserve without question, but I will post my experience and share it as often as I can for as long as I can.
I never much cared for their food. As far as BBQ is concerned they're bottom of the pile. There are many better options. I choose/have chosen this place because it's close and convenient. I will be going elsewhere in the future.
Desired outcome: A refund and an apology for the phone game.
Dallas BBQ - My under age son waas served a alcoholic beverage
Good morning, My name is Natalie Darwish I can be reached at [protected] or emailed at [protected]@yahoo.com, I went to have dinner at the Dallas BBQ on 3956 Broadway, New York, NY 10032 with my kids and my 12 year old was served a alcoholic beverage that caused him to get sick throw up and winded up in the hospital last night. I feel as if the situation was not taken serious and i think the waitress should be fired , I called the managers attention and he did address the issue and acknowledged that the waitress did place the order with alcohol in his virgin pina mango coaloda, we were never even asked for ID as a protocol when purchasing a alcohol beverage and if she had did her job the correct way and asked for ID then that would of raised a RED FLAG and i would of asked why and it would of never gone as far as it did, now there were no alcohol beverages ordered at our table not even for the adults so i am not sure how she messed that up and made such a tragic mistake, My sons health could of been jeopardized and could of resulted in a serious health crisis due to medication and health issues that he could of had taken , that was and is so reckless on their behalf and this needs to be addressed and acknowledged by the higher ups.
Dallas BBQ - Waitress
Waitress first mixed up our food then threw our food on the table called us [censored]s at bbqs located 3956 Broadway (@166th st) NewYork NY 10032 her name on receipt is Raydira but I have a photo of her just in case she entered a different name I told the manager and nothing wasn’t done also we had a baby with us I will never come back here and we always come to this location never any problems 😢😢😢
Dallas BBQ - Baby ribs
First the order was way to messy. They took so long to delivered the order (almost 2hrs). The baby rips that I ordered had a shrimp inside with rice stick on it (like from a left over order) so disgusting and with this Covid 19 going around even dangerous. The fries looked like old. I paid 54.18 on Uber eats for this order and I demand a refund (minimum). Please. This is so bad.
Desired outcome: Refund
Dallas BBQ - Indoor service
My cousin and I came here to eat, we ordered food and one alcoholic beverage for her. She is 24 years old I am 21. I don't drink but they insisted on seeing my identification. I showed them, my cousin doesn't have her hard copy of her ID but she has a clear picture and several bank cards to verify she is who she say she is. We asked to speak to the manager, he came and asked what was the issue. She stated that she has come here several times to order out and indoors months before this pandemic while purchasing alcoholic beverages and they never asked her for ID. The manager went on and said he can't take that because she doesn't look her age. He won't ID someone that looks 30 and older, that's body shaming as well as age discrimination. Nonetheless there are others here ordering alcoholic beverages without being asked to see ID. I just feel like if your going to enforce rules it should be 24/7 that your open not when you feel.
Dallas BBQ - Bag used for food
I visited their Washington Heights, NY location today and picked up an order totaling $103.36. I came all the way from New Jersey to pick up this order. After picking up my order and driving back to NJ, I stepped out of the car and the bag with all of the food busted open at the bottom and the food fell all over the floor. It was unsalvageable. I called the Washington Heights location and they advised me that I would need to pick up the food and bring it back in. When I complained that the food was all over the floor, they advised that I would need to drive all the way back from NJ to NY to show them a picture. I'm absolutely livid. They overstuffed one bag with my entire Order and caused this to happen. They are responsible and should be held responsible. I would like an apology, as well as a full refund for this inconvenience. After spending so much money at BBQ, we still had to purchase additional food in NJ.
Dallas BBQ - Customer service
On 1/30/12 my family and I attended dinner at the 3956 broadway new york new york location. I had one of the worst experiences ever at that location. We stood for over 10 minutes waiting to be seated the hostess that was on shift was sitting down at a booth and we had to sought after her to get seated. Then we waited another ten minutes until our server named patricia p. Came to our table and that was just for drinks. We barely seen her the entire time we had to keep looking for her when we needed additional napkins and extra condiments. What ended up happening was other servers had to help us with our needs. She never came back with our ticket we then had to hunt a manager down and they were no help. Another server had to find patricia p. And in the and she over charge me on my bill. After I explained to her the incorrect charges she then takes off three dollars when in return it should had been six. She walks away again and another server had to take my payment. All the while two managers where right there talking while this whole problem was going on. I would like to speak with someone immediately about getting my credit back on my bill. Thank you

I went to the Nostrand and Flatbush Ave Dallas BBQ, yesterday at around 2:15pm.. We was seated pretty quick, it wasn't crowded. We got this muscles looking black man, with noticeable long black Dread Lots hair, as our server. He was very friendly, . He ask us if we wanted cocktail, and we asked for two waters, and since I don't drink, my friend had the large mug glass drink, with the big bottle of wine, plunged in the middle. ( mango, pineapple, and a parasol sticking out on top). I order from the state menu, the sweet and spicy crab cake, and then ordered, the quarter rotisserie chicken, it came with my choice of side salad, and corn bread. My friend order, the salmon, and strimp grilled combo, the salad was her side, no corn bread. Our waiter brought out the water, and the big drink. Then about ten minutes later, another server brought out our main meal.( quarter chicken, and the strimp combo ). We asked for some tartar sauce, and the other server said, he will be back with my Bbg sauce, and tarter source, in which he did. Then I asked him about my spicy crab cake starter. He looked bewildered, he said that he will be right back. The our dread lots, muscles man, original server, came hurrying up to our table, he stated, " I am sorry about your crab cake, he said, due to a mixed up, then he asked, do u still want the crab cake?" Since we had out meal, already on the table, I said " ok you could cancel the crap cake" he said that he was sorry, and we will get one dessert free, for his mistake. After we was finish, we was wait for him to come and ask us, if we waned some dessert, I didn't want dessert, but we would have shared, the free dessert, that he promise me. Then he showed up with the bill, and these two small cup cake. I know that they give out these small cup cake to mostly everybody. I have been to Dallas Bbq, all around the country, and NY State, I live upstate NY. I asked him about the dessert that he promised me, for the crap cake mixup. Then he got kinda coy, with the stupid grin on his face, he said, that this is the dessert that he was talking about. I said, they give this to everybody. He had nothing to say after that. I wasn't mad, about this, but I felt that he was playing me as a fool. Then the bill was $48, and some change, we waited about ten minutes, and we was so in gross about the server foolishness about the dessert, I didn't even looked at the bill. I gave him three twenty, $60.00, he gave me back $11.00 and some change, but no check receipt. I left him $10.00, tip. As I was driving upstate, toward my home. I though about the bill, and the the $48.00. Then it hit me, $48 dollars, he charged me, for those Crap cake stater. My meal was $8.00 dollars (Quarter chicken), my friend meal was $14.00, and the big drink, was $10.00. That was it, plus 2 waters. The total should have been around $32.00 dollars, before taxes. I didn t get my slip, therefor I have nothing to check back on. Now, in or due fairness, do your include gratuity on the checks upfront? If you do, then he was correct, and I just didn t realized the upfront tip on check, and he got another 10 dollars on top. But if your don't calculate tip on the checks upfront, then they are pulling off scams, on some customers, in which, I have a big proplem with. Therefoe your management sould address. Thank you, please write back.
