On the Date and Time I had to do some Spare Of The Moment Shopping at your Marshall's Department Store. Being that it was a Spare of the Moment Purchase, I did not have my TJ Max Mastercard with me for the Purchase, But I did Have the Card Number #[protected] with me. I asked the Cashier to call the Store Manager up front to see if He could assist me in the Purchase with just the Card Number #[protected] and to Manually type the Card Number in. The Manager said to be Absolutely Not, we Have NO Access to Incorporate a Payment that way and that you Must Have the Physical Card Chip Inserted to be Read by the Computer. In the past at your TJ Max Locations, they never gave me that problem, why should Marshall's be any different in using Your TJ MAX Mastercard and gaining My Rewards Points towards Discounts for Future Purchases. My Request is that the Regional Manager speak to the Store Manager on the Date and Time of this Occurrence. If not Familiar with doing a Transaction Manually inserting TJ MAX Mastercard numbers for the Purchase without the Physical Card on Hand, to explain and show them that it can be done as an Alternative Method for the Purchase.
Yes, I am disappointed in losing out On My rewards Points for a future Discount Coupon.
Desired outcome: Forced to use an alternative Credit Card
