I visited the TJMaxx in Hartsdale, NY on 6/29 @ 1:15PM. I grabbed two items quickly and got on line because, as always, it was ridiculously long. When I reached the register one of my items needed a price check. At 1:39 an employee was called. I waited 5 minutes until the cashier asked another employee who just called on the speaker again for a price check. (4 other employees were behind the counter doing nothing). After a 3rd call, Brionna or Brianna came strolling up to the register to help and took her time strolling back for the price. She came back, shouted the price to me, I nodded and she went to print out the tag. She checked her phone, talked to other employees, after the tag was printed out and placed on the item, she never brought the item back to the register. My cashier eventually went over and took it off the counter. I exited the store at 1:55. Brionna should be trained to the fact that not everyone has nowhere to be and the task at hand should be complete before being distracted with phones and personal conversations. I was late getting back to work while trying to run one errand during my lunch break because that is the only time in my day to get things done. This TJMaxx location is always a disaster and I will not be returning.
Desired outcome: Training, Corporate should know what a mess this store is.

I am an employee of TJ Maxx. I was disrespected in front of other employees during a group meeting before the store opened. I was only inquiring about my time not registering correctly on the time clock we punch in on. He said outright in front of everyone he did not care and he had done what he was suppose to do as far of clocking me in and clocking me out for lunch. Everyone who heard him was shocked that he could disrespect an employee so badly in front of everyone. He never said - I should wait and discuss it with him later. He was very nasty and disrespectful to an older worker (me). He later showed me that the office computer had the time registered correctly (after calling me in the office) but his behavior was not professional and I will never forget what he did. I am an older worker, older than he is and I feel he disrespects me because of my age but get along with the younger workers better. He later apologized to me in the office but this is not the first time he has done this to me. I told another manager about this and she said she would call it to his attention later. I will never feel comfortable asking a manager anything anymore after this happened. It made me feel insecure as far as management is concerned. I just work there part-time and like my job but I just wonder why some people feel the need to talk to others disrespectfully to make them feel insecure. This incident happened Sunday 8-6-2023
