Aspen Dental

I had a 20+ yr old cavity and the filling fell off then the tooth chipped off so I called Aspen dentist and the receptionist was persistent that I should come right in because my first visit would be free and therefor if I needed it filled or pulled or anything else that it wouldn't cost me nothing and I could have it done. It sounded so good to be true and she persisted so I hurried over there. I was examined and the tooth was x rayed and then the dentist came in and said that my tooth was definitely savable, I just needed to fill it again and that it would be $200! I asked her about the first visit being free including services and she, the dentist explained to me after that ASPEN DENTAL DOES NOT GIVE ANY KIND OF FREE TREATMENT, THAT THE ONLY FREE SERVICE YOU GET IS EXAM AND XRAY OF THE PROBLEM TOOTH YOU ARE THERE FOR AND THEN A CREDIT CHECK TO SEE IF YOU QUALIFY FOR 6 MONTHS TO PAY FOR IT! And let me tell you she clearly didn't want to be bothered with anything else... She asked if I had any questions for her and when I asked about other problems in my mouth she kept sshing me and telling me we are only discussing the tooth that chipped and just wanted to know if I had $200 or not... I didn't do damn credit check for that amount nor have it fixed there and I am glad because later on I learned from a friend that a mutual friend of ours recently had his teeth pulled and new dentures put in there because he could pay it off in 6 months.. Now he has his new dentures and they don't fit at all and he is very uncomfortable and sore... He is in more pain now then what he was before having his bad teeth out. Looking at him you clearly see and hear in his speech that they are TOO MUCH A WRONG FIT... And in order for him to have the dentures corrected or fit, or get the right size dentures they want him to pay another couple thousand dollars! I am learning through word of mouth and also seeing people after visiting Aspen that this company is so big because they are BIG AT SCAMMING PEOPLE... Smaller dentist, especially ones who take medicaid and medicare I am learning are the best dentist, for they aren't in it just for the money, but also because they care about a person's mouth. So think about that when looking for a dentist.
