Bought puppy from Shake A Paw for my young daughters bday..
we love the puppy dearly.. within the first week we bought him he was very sick with cough and diarrhea ... costing us stress and money soon after dog became somewhat aggressive and as he got little older became worse. bitting my daughter on her lip, attacking and biting my boyfriend and lastly attacking me...
tried contacting Shake A Paw and they said that this is not their problem
he is my puppy and i have to deal with it.
I do love our dog buddy.. but we can't keep him do to that he is dangerous..We wanted Shake a Paw to help us with options do to that we don't want to put him down and want him somewhere safe where he can get the help he needs...
But Shake a Paws employee assaulted and pushed me out of the store and threw me and my Dog out locked the doors and called the cops ...
worse experience ever with this company... they are unfriendly, not helpful. unprofessional and heartless company that doesn't do the right thing or stand behind their brand..
I came to this place referred by a someone i trained and trusted her judgement shame on me for not doing my own research and realizing how awful Shake a Paw is!

Shake A Paw - selling unhealthy puppies
I purchased a Siberian husky on Sunday 4/29 and he was highly infected with Parvo, Distemper, GIardia and Pneumonia. I took him to vet 3 days after purchased by Sunday he had to be hospitalized, he died on Tuesday 5/7. The vaccine records that were given to us was questionable if indeed the vaccines had been given to the puppy. The above diseases are highly contagious so if anyone purchased a puppy there recently or has had the same experience as I have had please contact me so that together we can put an end to this. Shake a Paw is apparently falsifying vaccine records. I spent 4500 dollars approx. in trying to save this puppy. I DO NOT WANT ANYONE TO EXPERIENCE WHAT I JUST DID.

I just purchased a Lab on Friday 9/28/12 at 8pm as the store was closing. My kids were so happy.. The next day we saw that the puppy was coughing all day so we took him to their vet in (West hills ) and they took a chest xray and told us he has pneumonia. they gave us meds for him and this morning we find out from the stool sample that the pup has Coccidia .Coccidia is a parasite that effects the intestines in animals and is highly contagious. My children have been playing with this dog for 3 days and now I have them going on antibiotics to protect them. How can this store sell sick dogs like this? Don’t they care about the health of children. They have the nerve to tell me all the vet fees will be covered but the dog is final sale. I can’t have this dog living in my home and risk my children getting ill. I promises I will not allow them to get away with this.
