Stewart's Shops Products - General store management / keeping coffee and snacks stocked

I very seldom complain about anything and understand that employees can't always perform their jobs perfectly. It's absolutely not acceptable to go into a store for a simple coffee and snack and run into multiple problems within a couple of minutes of being in the store and then leaving empty handed and angry.

Keep in mind that the store was very slow with only two or three customers and there were "at least four employees", that I could see, that were doing nothing.

While traveling, I made a quick stop at the store to grab a coffee and a hot dog. The first disappointment was that all the coffee pots were empty except one that barely had enough left to fill a small cup. By the burnt smell of it, I'm sure it was sitting there for quite a while. I wasn't about to ask for and wait for a fresh pot to brew.

The second disappointment was at the hot dog grill. I was dying for a hot dog but there were only a few sausages so I decided to settle for one.

The next disappointment came when I opened the drawer to grab a warm hot dog roll and there were none. By now I was already starting to "burn up" but I tried hard to keep my cool and kindly asked one of the lifeless girls for a roll. So I ended up with a cold roll instead of a nice warm one.

For the last disappointment, and last straw, was when I reached for the relish container and found it totally empty. That did it. I just left my coffee, sausage and bag of chips right there and stormed out. I swore to myself that I would never go into a Steward's again.

Desired outcome: I know you won't do it but you need an undercover person to check on all stores and employees on a regular basis.

On Tuesday am Dec.14, 2021 not sure of the time but a little after 6am, I stopped at the Stewart's store ln Brownsville ny. And a gentleman in say mid 50s came onto the store for coffee, obviously he forgot that it is Mandatory to wear a mask, well instead of the male clerk being nice and reminding him .. the clerk started to lecture him about why you should mask etc. The guy went out and got his mask, came back in for his coffee and this clerk just would not let up he was very rude and acted pissed cause this guy forgot to put a mask on, that guy was pissed when he left .I just wish the manager could have witnessed this, he Def. Would have fired that guy or at least spoke to him . THE MANAGER IS AWESOME, but some of the younger people need to learn about boundaries
