DHS - Mismanagement

I was staying at this shelter for an extremely long 6 months and getting nowhere super - fast.Come to find out my case worker (Robert izzo) got fired for not proccessing clients paperwork in a timely fashion. To my misfortune i was one of his clients. My case was given to sue antoine (Not sure if last name spelling is correct) whom, in order to not get fired on the same basis, proceeded to wrongfully discharge multiple residents (Including me) . On my first visit with mrs. Antoine she informed me (With a completely unneccessary attitude) that my file was missing certain paperwork (Tb test results, an award letter from the social security office, which had already been submitted) . Without hesitation, the very next day friday nov. 6, 2009 i went all the way down to brooklyn to the east new york diagnostic & treatment center for a copy of my tb test results where it was initially done aug. 12, 2009. The documentation was handed in on monday nov. 9, 2009 (The award letter that she had requested as well i ordered via phone on saturday, nov. 7, 2009 to be sent via usps to the location 120 e. 32nd st. New york, ny 10016) . Once i handed her the test results she (Mrs. Antoine) gave me an appointment for friday nov. 13, 2009. At this appointment we argued (Not discussed) where i was at and where my case was going. She told me that the program only does sro (Single room occupant) (Tis a room for rent where the government pays the most part of your rent but you must meet a certain percentage of its value) . I made her aware that mr. Izzo said that i was eligible for section 8 housing. The dispute went back and forth for abruptly 5 minutes, then i got up and walked out to avoid further confrontation. On monday nov 16, 2009 i called her first to see where i was at, and she told me to go see her. She then put me in a corner saying statements such as "you are non - compliant" "i can do what i want" "you have to find the place, not me", she was clearly showing that she was denying her responsabilities as a relpacement case worker. Then she proceeded to showing me discharge papers! For what? What did i do?

Many cases were thrown out just as mine was. . But the people that reside there are more prone to not take action to avoid them getting treated this same way in other places. Personally, i stand up for my rights as much as possible. Anybody knows that a government institution can (Excuse the language) cover their ### pretty darn well. Is this the way we americans treat people that are in a bad situation and are seeking help? This place should be shut down. Im not even going to get into all the little dirty details that they hide, after living there for 6 long months i've picked up quite a few things.

note: I already contacted DHS and I havent heard from them yet!

I proceeded to contact 7 on your side, New York Times & The Daily News.. nothing.. it really shows how much love there is for the least fortunate in America. Yet, we are in other counties helping people that dont even have a US greencard.

Fraudulent e - mails containing the subject line “new dhs report” have been circulating since august 15, 2009. Actually i know the system was against me when the judge ordered denise to do a home study and she still didnt when i called her and she chose not to talk to me and retailiated against me when i contacted her boss and then had to get ahold of the main director before i could get my sister released i done everything i was suppose to do so why is it that the people that are trying to help the child out are always made out to be the bad person when its actually the dhs because they arent doing their job and dont even bother checking out the place where they place the kids if they did they may change their minds and release them to family like they should oand we arent talking about my kids its my sister and i did do everything possible to get her out but it took me 19 days to find someone to listen to me and check my story out and apparently i was in the right because it only took 2 hrs afterwards and she was placed with family like they should had done the first day the judge didnt ignore our request he just had to wait on dhs to do thier part and that was the problem they didint i dont think they should even place a 17 and half year old in foster care for living on their own with supervision because their parent kicked them out i mean they have to grow up sometime and no i am not taken up for my parents at all i think they are worthless no parent should ever turn their back on thier child but to place a child in a bad situation isnt the answer they shouldnt have to pay the price for the parent decision so i should say my sister was the victim because she was placed in a horrible place that was worse then jail for just doing what she was forced to do and that would be grow up and be an adult at a young age she was very much mistreated in the shelter / mental health unit for troubled teens had no clothes or tooth brush for 5 days very little contact with family was under so much stress that it was effecting her health was having panic attacks and they didnt even care when i told them about it just said they thought she was fine how would they know when they never checked on her my sister was very well taken care of had everything she needed proably more than most adults but they said that wasnt the point she shouldnt have her own place at 17 almost 18 if thats true why is it legal in missouri and fine maybe thats true then why didint they place her with family when there was family in the court room at the time willing to take her instead they put her with total strangers that treated her like a prisoner for no good reason if you ask me i think a child should always be placed with a family when possible
