On march 27, 2019 I was shopping at the saks off 5th as I have been for many years. As have my mother and her 11 brothers and sisters and their kids, kids. My mother has held her saks credit card for as long as I can remember. I have always had the best customer service experiences up until that day!.. However I came in to buy something nice for my mom as she was being honored for susan g komen breast cancer survivor! I too wrk seasonal at kate spade outlet.. With that being said at our store we do often allow our customers to bring the purses in front to show spouses friends etc to get their opinion.. I may have been wrong but assumed that all stores do the same.. I had a michael kors backpack and another purse and walked towards the door where I assumed my boyfriend was parked (I didn't know he left to go to use restroom so he had to move car) anyway I was walking at a normal pace so anybody who saw me would've known that I definitely was not trying to steal smh.. Anyway I was trying to ask boyfriends opinion about which purse to buy her and it never dawned on me that anybody would think I was stealing in broad view of everybody!
Needless to say one of your security cameras up to me and grabbed my arm so hard I thought it was out of socket n I began to try n explain as I still was going to buy one of the bags.. My church member was driving by thank god and advised him to stop touching me.. So I then came back and threw the bags at him..
I called the store manager whose name is tom who then called me back and apologized profusely as he remembered me and my family from shopping there often. He advised me that someone from your corporate office would be reaching out to me either by letter or email or phone and I have yet to hear from anyone. I was going to reach out to social media as I have photos that were captured by the member of my church but I decided to first reach out to your company one last time.
