We have been customers at K jewelers for a very long time few years now. we have have bought multiple watches, bracelets, necklaces and rings there. We have spent thousands and thousands of dollars at Kay Jewelers. We went there on January 2nd in the early afternoon to get my ring checked for its warranty and also look at watches and a cross for my granddaughter, as she's being christened this weekend. When we walked in the store our associate Amy who is very good, by the way, was not there; we did not see her. One of the associates working, we will call her Associate 1, (There were 2 people working at the cash register that day, well call other associate, Associate 2) asked if we needed help and what we were looking to do. I told her that we were looking to get my ring checked for my warranty and to have it cleaned. We were thinking about possibly buying the cross that day or maybe even a watch, but didn't mention that then. She told us it would be about 5 min. We waited 10. in the meantime another couple was waiting and looking at watches. Next, a man enters and goes to the same woman Associate 1, she is still helping same person, tells her that he wants to get his ring size. She tells him she'll be right with him. Associate 1 finishes with one client, moves on to the couple, sits them down over by the rings and shows them watches. Now it's been 25 min. No acknowledgement, the other associate, Associate 2 still with her client, no acknowledgment at all. The man that wanted ring size is now looking in the case of the rings 2 feet from associate 1 who is still seated with the couple. Who now excuses herself from the couple, I thought she'd come to us. She gets up and walks over to the man and proceeds to help him with rings. I am furious. This was almost 30 min of waiting to get my ring checked. It was clear that if we said we were purchasing something we would have gotten the red carpet treatment as we usually do. I am appalled and disappointed to say the least. We obviously left the store enraged and never got my ring checked or purchased the cross or watch, I doubt we will be back as customers. These two employees have no customer service skills.
