I purchased a 24 pack of Stop & Shop Acadia Spring Water. On December 11, 2020 I went to recycle the water bottles at the recycling center of their store, the machine would not read the bar code on the bottle. I went inside to the customer service counter I explained that the machine would not take their brand in the recycling machine. The person who was behind the counter was rude he would not do anything except to tell me they would not take the bottles or give me my money back. I understand about covid but he could have told me he couldn't take the bottles back but give me the money that I had to pay to purchase the water bottles. Since your charging me the deposit on the water bottles, the resolution should be giving me the $1.20 back for the bottles that I could not put in their machine.
