I completely understand that your business needs to close sometimes in order to stock or to do things like that but if you're going to close for the entire night can you please do your customers a favor and let us know in the afternoon. I mean this neighborhood already lost its grocery store we have nothing to count on but we have speedway and then we try to go there at night and oops it's just closed no warning. I was literally in your location twice today you guys couldn't put up a sign that said hey we're going to close tonight to give people a heads up. And I understand that you think this location is the ghetto but it's not this is actually a great neighborhood if y'all would actually police your store.
Claimed loss: I had to spend way more at Valero instead. I could have gone to the grocery store this afternoon if we had any warning at all, that you were going to decide a Friday night was a good one to close.
Desired outcome: A response... since whenever we send complaints we never hear anything back. Which is crazy because of all the neighbors to this store started calling the police, your location would be declared a public nuisance.
Speedway - A worker who was working on august the 8th in the evening and unsanitary conditions
I was visiting the speedway at Huffman and Smithville on august the 9 th around midnight or close to it. We were at the utility sink washing out our cups to refill. Before we could even was out our cups my friends had to scrub the black mold from around the sink area. While she was doing this the lady at the register very rudely came out from behind the window and starts talking real rude to my friend who stated that she was cleaning up the black mold from around the sink so she could wash her cups out. The lady working then made several rude remarks to my friend and all my friend had said was thank u. I asked about the restroom which was closed down either bc they list the key or for other reasons I couldn't get a direct answer about the reasoning for the restroom being closed. The store was very dirty, most of the drink machines were out of order. The soda machine was empty, I wanted a fountain drink coke and ended up having to get my. Dew instead. Just a horrible shopping experience. The parking lot was dirty as well as the inside of store. And I think if this problem isn't resolved then from this day forward I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I've always loved speedway for their coffee and the selection of fountain drinks. And the cleanliness of the inside of their establishments. And I'm very disappointed in this particular store as well as it's rude employees.
