Bob Evans

Last evening, 5/3/23 at 6:00pm, my husband and I visited the Bob Evans restaurant in Jackson, Ohio. Jayden was our server and she was delightful, as always, and very good at her job. That's where the "good" ended. I ordered the turkey with dressing, etc. and my husband ordered the honey chicken dinner with a house salad. Both our meals came to within cents of $30.00 and they were both nearly inedible. I have every confidence both dinners had been reheated... My turkey and dressing were hard and let's not even discuss the biscuits, which were like rocks! The coating on his chicken was "blackened" and his salad tasted like the vegetables were "old". Neither of us could finish our meals and we didn't see a manager anywhere on site. It's for sure after Ed Miller (many years ago now) was manager, there hasn't been a decent one since! Ed always came around to everyone's table to ask about the meal and actually listened. After Ed left, no manager that I've ever seen has ever set foot inside the seating areas. We grudgingly paid the ridiculous bill of $30.00 and decided to send the complaint up the chain. I hope it isn't disregarded as it appears there have been many unresolved complaints.
